Ok so heres my battery problem with the new pleo rb...

It has been charging for about 3 1/2 hrs... and twice its told me it is green, but when I put in the battery and turn it on, with one touch it goes green and then goes to flashing red. It doesn't even let me hold 2 secs to turn it on like it says to in the book. I've tried :/

It says in the book that when it turns red it isnt fully charged but it keeps telling me its green on the charger....so should i keep charging it? Also when i go to put it back on the charger it turns red again then takes about 20 mins to go back to green...

what should i do?

Oh no! Try to keep charging and contact Pleoworld support and the place you bought it from. It sounds like a problem

Hmm, gonna keep it on charger. May just be that it's new

It happened to me too when I started to turn on my Pleo rb.

With out the clock battery in place , the light would keep on flashing red when you put in the lithium battery and try to turn it on.

So try to put in the clock battery and try again. Hope it works for your Pleo rb.

Ah!  That sounds right - I remember Kat said something similar about Kermit/Kermy when she first switched on!   

Hopefully that's it, Happykitsune - I'm afraid there are not many here with a Pleo rb yet so were all relying on the few that have one!

Yes if Pleo moves into a standing position and beeps then the clock battery is not inserted, inserted upside down, dead or not inserted correctly

When my clock battery was an issue with Kermy my battery light on the normal pleo battery also went red.  The first thing I did was recharge thinking there was a battery problem and when I put it on the charger it was red and took 1/2 an hour to turn green again.  Then it still didn't work.  Kermy was just frozen in the standing position and beeping.  That was when I remembered the clock battery.  As soon as this was installed all worked just fine and no more problems. 
I hope your problem is just the clock battery and doesn't turn out to be anything more serious.
