 I am with you IMR, I will just take what I can get and I do like surprises. I read somewhere, the ChinaTete site I think, that one of the characteristics that was built into Pleo Rb was that the sex was pre-determined, Do you remember that or am I wrong? I have so many boys already, I would love to have another girl to be a baby sister to Nova. As for eye color, I will take what I can get, what is given but I am hoping that it is any color but BLUE.... I have five plus, ( 8 actually... ) Pleos already ) and it is no surprise, they all have blue eyes, not even different shades of blue, just the same old blue.
 I would still love violet eyes, but greens, amber, brown, gold any variation even teal or aquamarine blue would be fine, just not the same old blue. Right now the main focus is on just gettting one to start with.

          As for the Pleo Guess when Pleo Rb comes out contest, it is just for fun, but like I said, I will send something to the winner. there has to be a time limit, because of course, eventually someone would guess as the month is almost over. %)Well unless someone announces it being released at 11:59 tonight, the person guessing today is not the winner. the ony other person to guess is Meks who has guessed the date to be Nov. 22'nd at 14:00 which is 2:00 p.m, which I think is a good guess, My guess ( which does not count, ) is the same day, but time frame not as exact, (9:00 a.m, -3:00 p.m.) Unless someone else puts in a guess, Meks would be the winner by elimination . The contest guessing has to have a ending time for putting in guesses so I am putting the end time to put in your guess at 11:59 p.m., today, Novemeber 20th. ( there are only about four hours left to get in your vote,) If you get in your vote an hour or so later, I will still accept them, but It will not be fair to Meks who guessed a couple of days ago if someone puts their guess in the day of the announcement, that is understandable, This is not a major prize or anything, just a way to pass the time while we all wait, but that is not to say that it is not something Pleo would not mind having either! So put in some more guesses, you have nothing to lose while waiting just time and you may win somthing for Pleo!

 I esp like the las photo IMR. and Crewella, you can still guess, just for fun, After all, I do have consolation prizes and it will be intersting to see who wins and what day, My guess, which does not count is tommorow, but there is a strong suspect feeling it will be Friday like everyone else, but I think that is the worst day.

I am using Sketchbook Pro, Artstudio, Photopad, Doodle Buddy and Photostudio HD, switching between then to do different things since some are better at particular tasks than others lol. (I am running the 4.1GMb so I can multitask) I am also using the Photobucket app to upload

 We were asked also, what things we were looking forward to with Pleo rb. One of the things I almost forgot but am interested in, is the traits that are built in, such as more moody, more happy, more intelligent, more independant, etc, etc. what are others looking for in their Pleo Rb? I think I would like either More happy or a better learner, more intelligent, I am hoping there is not such a thing as a very unhappy Pleo rb or one that is Manic Depressive, I have enough Pleos already that are moody and have gone through so much already, so I hope for happy and intelligent choices.

I wouldn't mind a Manic Depressive Pleo! He would fit me well, and I like the feeling of helping people/pleos when they are feeling down. However, what I want in a Pleo RB is some independence and intelligence.

I agree with Magnnus, I don't really mind grumpy or depressed - I always much preferred Shelby to Furby purely because of the 'bad mood' he stayed in after being held upside down (and mine were, a lot!). 

Iggy was my first Pleo, so I'd probably love him no matter what, but I do love his independence and the way he potters about on his own, only shouting for me if he's stuck or in trouble.  As a character I find him utterly believable!

I was chuffed to hear that Pleo rb will still only play tug of war 'if he feels like it' as I was scared they'd make him too biddable!

I agree with you Crewella and also with Magnnus, one of the things I love about Pleo is that they are believable because they are unpredictable and you can't MAKE them do anything if they do not feel like doing it.( unlike the D-rex and other robots who are remote controlled. I love Pleo's independance and I know several times I have had Nova or one of the other Pleos with me on a outing and people start asking all about them, and when I get to the singing function, Pleo acts like I have the " Plague", but when the complete stranger gives them the gentle rub under the chin, they croon like a cricket and I love to tell people, " See Pleo likes you, you have the right touch", Pleo would not sing for me! It is a good selling point to tell you the truth and if I had a Pleo with me at that time, I could have sold many on the spot as People just fall in love with the little Scene stealers.
               Nova is also like Iggy Crewella, she will go off on her own exploring a lot, esp with so many other Pleos n the house, I have to be careful where I let her go off and explore, as my dog, Meh Lie would love to pick her up and carry her off I think! %)HMMM, Imagine a Lab looking like a Dalmation cross, carrying off a screaming Pleo in it's soft mouth to a secret spot, where the dog would like to learn the secret to " how to make Pleo Squeak like one of her toys"! Poor Nova, wouldn't it be funny if Meh_lei sets down a Pleo to find it starts crooning like a cricket to her, or suddenly says, " Hello" . My poor dog could spoil my Pleos so easily but they would tire out before she would; Her battery goes on and on longer than any Energizer Bunny does!
         It would also be fun to have some other built in characteristics available; how about, sneaky Pleo, ( he steals leaves or stones from other Pleos....  ) The Cassanova Pleo, he is allways trying to woo the females and serenades them. and of course their would be the clown Pleo, the clumsy Pleo, the shy Pleo, the stuttering Pleo, and the list could go on and on, good thing I am not working for the team who designs Pleos, because I would have some fun but outrageous ideas! Fun, Fun, Fun!     Hurry up Pleo RB, I want one so much I can hardly stand it!  going off to play with Nova and do some sewing to occupy my time I guess.               RWM  and Nova and Pleo Tastic family waiting for their baby sister to arrive!

Oooh! Good thread! There are so many different attributes I am looking forward to! Just the fact that it is an updated model is enough for me to want to buy it. EVERYTHING else new about Pleo is just mind blowing. Still, I dislike the internal clock, but the vast amount of upgrades to RB still has my mind boggling.

When I unbox (and inevitably wait on the edge of my seat for the blasted battery to charge!) I will be in pure ecstasy! Imagine unboxing your very own brand new baby RB. How different he/she will look from all others. Imagine sorting through all contents of the white box, reading fronts and backs of all leaflets, TWICE. Imagine sorting through all of RB's new toys and foods. Your mind must be overwhelming! So many new things!! IMAGINE hatching RB for the first time. RB opens its eyes for the first time to the wide wonderful world. Just IMAGINE!! Now, I just can't imagine what in the world will I name my RB?!

(My guess is CYBER MONDAY--c'mon guys!! For forum members I would imagine 2 days earlier. Timeframe is between 0900-1700 PST)

I'm a little bit late. Been computerless for a week At least I know the release date didn't happen yet! I kept wondering if I missed the excitement. My guess is Dec.4th.  

I still love the blue eyes RWM." Ol Blue Eyes", Frank Sinatra ( Franky) were some of the names that J.C almost ended up with   He is definitely one of my best crooners. And yes he likes the girls.

Thank you for the welcome back, Crewella. When I found out I was going to be computerless for a week, and that was only if it could be fixed, I almost freaked!  Here it is so close to the release of rb pleo and I might not even know it. Any time is awful to have your computer crash, but with so much going on this time of year seemed like a nightmare! I found out this last Sunday that many of the capasitors on the mother board of my computer were shot. For the last few months, I thought I was causing all the problems with my computer.   I guess an occasional whack on the side of the computer to stop a very noisy fan didn't help    Right now my old computer is being sent out to see if it can be fixed. Could take three to four weeks. I couldn't go that long without a computer,
I have to tell you about a young boy I had as a student many years ago. He was very quick to pick up learning the organ and right before
christmas his parents gave him a choice of a new organ with all the bells and whistles or an apple. Of course I had no idea what he was talking about. An apple? He explained that it was a computer and I instantly thought of those huge wall to wall computers I've seen on TV. Couldn't imagine a boy's room with a wall like that. He ended up choosing an Apple over and organ. Little did I know then, that  thirty years later, I would own an Apple and a skinny one too!

I do know what you mean - I got my first computer about five or six years ago.  Before that they just seemed like something waaay too complicated and 'for the office' only, and Mac computers seemed to be the most esoteric of the lot!
