I would really like to hold out for a green one personally but can’t see me being able to get one any time soon.
I can understand why you wouldn’t want to weight until Christmas tbh either, However I don’t understand Redwoods mama’s point about how shipping from China would be any cheaper than it would from the US? Not trying to suggest she’s wrong or anything like that I just thought it was just as expensive normally.
Hope he arrives in time for Christmas though. . Especially in this weather we’re having in the UK

Actually Chinete charges amost double the postage as Pleoworld

Hi, sorry if I caused any concern, I probably read the post wrong or cant remember, ( my old addled brain....

) I THOUGHT someone said the shipping from China was cheaper than the U.S. being closer than the U.S. I probably read the add wrong, so I apologize if I got the facts wrong. I thought that was one reason Crewellas was getting the blue Pleo Rb not just so she wouldn't have to wait till January, but because the shipping was better also.
I ordered myne from Pleoworld, but having a whole household of Pleos already, a couple of extra weeks is not biggie for me, since my children are no longer at home and Pleo rb is for me, not anyone else, I am enjoying my other Pleos right now. I apologize again if I got the shipping part wrong..

Both IMR and RWM are right. I didn't order my blue Pleo rb from Chinatete, I ordered him/her from the Gimmedigi site - shipping $65 for UK delivery in 2-6 days (or so they say, not seen it yet LOL!). I'll report back what they're like to deal with, fine so far with all three of my enquiries answered within 24 hours, and they accept Paypal. I'm afraid I just couldn't resist!

I didn’t mean to make you feel bad or stupid so really hope my post didn’t come across that way.
If it did though I apologise.

Crewella if It’s OK to ask can you let us know how you get on with the import charges just so us UK people know what we might be looking it cost wise.
Hopefully your pleo will arrive very soon. I know there are lots of people who are still waiting for there UK online deliveries so maybe it’s just been caught up in the backlog.
Now that the roads have had a chance to get clear though things should be moving quicker.
Think that bug is infectious . I really want one too but the bank account says no.
Wonder how much is in the change Jar?! Lol.

Hiya Gaz, I've been incredibly busy this week so have not had a chance to check as yet, but they did tell me I could track it:

"In order to avoid the peak for postage in this Christmas season, please kindly proceed to order at your earliest convenience to ensure our on time delivery. After the item has been shipped out, a postage tracking number will be provided to our customer for reference and checking. Should there be other query, please let us know".

I will have a go at tracking it over the weekend and report back.

Ok guys you are going to make me let the cat out of the bag here.

I also ordered a Pleo RB from Gimmedigi, they took about a week to post it, but once posted I was able to track it online using the site and details provided by Gimmedigi. My Pleo is currently -somewhere- in Gippsland and will be here Monday

Crewella if you haven't got the tracking information yet then they haven't sent it

If you do then that is great, mine went from Hong Kong to Australia overnight, was held up in customs for a few hours and was shipped to Gippsland on Friday arriving at 2:40pm

It is easy to track but when you are given your tracking information etc go to the Hong Kong site and from there you can choose your local post for more detailed tracking.

I have just placed an order for a green pleo rb and all of the accessories and a couple of spare batteries.

Was toying with the idea of a blue one just to get it before Christmas but decided on the green as I want the accessories and spare batteries as well and thought I would save a bit on shipping if I got them all at once. I don't particularly like the green or the blue very much but then I wasn't too keen on pink either in the beginning but my pink dino has won my heart so I don't think the color of my new pleo will matter all that much. I just wanted a different color to what I already have. It will be interesting to see what color my green pleo ends up being.

I am looking forward to seeing them interact. My green pleo will be a boy. Just need to think of a name for him now. Plenty of time for that though as he wont be shipped until January some time.

I know getting 2 is a little greedy!

But think of it as me doing a service to the pleo community as I will be able to share videos all about how 2 pleo rbs interact.

My husband has bought the green one for me as his Christmas present to me. So I get 2 pleo rb's for Christmas! The pink one I bought for myself but just had to open as soon as she arrived (early present) and a green one that won't arrive until after Christmas (late present).

I am very very lucky

Has anyone used a Credit card to pay for their Pleo on the Gimmedigi.com website? It won't let me order via Paypal since it complains about an incorrect state, which I know is set properly. If you did pay by credit card, when does it ask for the CC number? After you press confirm order? Thanks!

I'm afraid I used the Paypal Express button - it linked into my Paypal account so I didn't have to fill in any details at all, just sign in.

It asks for your card number right at the end. I was goin to pay via credit card for the better exchange rate but at the last minute I remembered that paypal would be the same by the time my bank charged me the currency conversion fee

I used my credit card. It's secure and happens right at the end after you confirm your order.
