FBS, Looks like Nova and I got your into the painting mood, He he...

You did a good job.I think it pays to be adventuresome and if you don't like it, you can remove it if you dont wait more than say 48 hrs, it is easier to remove acrylics soon after, they just get kind of flaky and as you probably already know they can be very drying to Pleo skin, I used Olive oil as a Moisturizer,( remember, Nova is from Weedovia, and the Italian's Pleos love Olive oil anyway...

) Also dont be afraid to try new things. I am very happy with Nova's Makeover and more imortantly she is.

Remember also, you have some artistic talents yourself, so you know what is possible and not possible, Start little like you did, and then you can keep touch ups when every you want. I am going to touch up Poor Little 45 as well, The little guy's skin is terrible and he needs clothes badly, and a little paint here and there will help his self esteem as well, He is the most sweet little boy I have ever seen, He is really a baby in every sense of the word, except he has had way too much abuse for one so little, He reminds me of one of the pleos that is in those abuse videos without him being totally destroyed. Oh, any particular brand of acrylic paint that you used, or just what you have on hand?
Oh, my fave shirt is the Wildlife shirt as well , like Crewella, I love the Moose on it, I love Moose just as much as wolves, strange as it sounds, wolves being predators and all, but they are free and beautiful anyway, I do think the Penguin shirt is adorable though and the nicest color and totally winter time and looks so cozy and soft, makes you want to toast some marshmallows and drink cocoa. I wouldn't mind a shirt , ( PJ's, ) in the blue penguin design....LOL. Good job again there FBS!

Thanks RWM! I might try the olive oil, but do you put it on after you put the paint on or before? And do you do it only once and its soaks in to stop flaking or do you have to keep doing it? I've definetely noticed its extremely flakey, so I'd love to make it stop flaking with olive oil, I just don't know how much to put. I don't remember the brand of acrylic paint and I already put it in the closet, but I can look for you tommorow

I might be selling some things that I don't use anymore to try and win a auction for another Pleo

Theres quite a few up for auction right now, so if I can get enough from selling things I'll definetely try to win one, if I do it'll be a girl named Clover

If anyone has some love spots they need to touch up on faces the paint I used (Which matches EXACTLY) is Winsor Newton Galeria "Permanent Green Deep" Acrylic paint

That's really useful to know, FBS, thanks.

Winsor and Newton are great quality paints. Years ago, their HQ used to be just down the road from me and I'd temp there in the customer services section in the summer. If you ever have a question about any of the paints, even down to how to get oil paint stains off your sofa, I can attest to their commitment to try and answer!

Hi FBS, first of all, Congrats on getting Clover!

Now is this for you, or for your Mom? Sounds like you and your mom both got hooked by Gizmo's charm.

You havent' had Gizmo very long now have you? I got NOva last December, for Christmas and didn't get my second one untill my birthday in the end of May. At this rate you may be able to catch up to me,

mind you though, I have a total of Eight now and it is not a year yet, so you better work at it hard, cause Pleo Rb, ( if I am lucky.

) will be nine, and I am hoping to have the first ever Pleo baseball team. %)Imagine that a Pleo team ......wonder what they would be called. LOL
Happy Thanksgving to you too. Sounds like you had a great day with family members, ESp loved the photo of Gizmo on the bike and the one where Cole or another cousin is petting him at the table. Sounds like you may have more Pleos soon among your cousins and then on visits Gizmo and Clover can have their " cousin Pleos " visit. Take care, great photos. Thanks RWM! Clover is for me, but I don't think my mom would of bought her if she didn't want her atleast a little bit too

I've had Gizmo for about a month and a week, so yep, not too long at all. I think Clover will be my last Pleo, except for maybe a Pleo RB eventually if I'm lucky, it took alot of convincing and low-price searching for my mom to even consider getting Clover. A Pleo baseball team would be so cute, you'll have to find little jerseys

Maybe their name can be the "Green Sox" (Not a fan of baseball, I had to look up teams to think of that pun

) I was thinking the same thing about my cousins getting a Pleo, if my cousin (The boys in the pictures are my second-cousins) can find one cheap enough by Christmas maybe she'd buy one

Forgot to say this earlier: The person who my mom bought Clover from had some shipping problems on Wednesday and couldn't ship that day, and since today is Thanksgiving he'll be shipping her tommorow and since its priority she should be here Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest

Clover

Clover came today!! When I turned her on she only took about 5 minutes to hatch, which was surprising. Then when I pat her under her chin she started singing, not making those noises when they don't have 1.1, but singing

Then I looked at the number on her foot and it ends with 8, which I'm pretty sure means shes an Innvo Pleo, and I also noticed that there is a "I" by the on/off switch. So I'm pretty sure I got an Innvo Pleo

Hi, very nice photos, glad you did not have to wait long to get Clover either. Did she come in her original box with instrucitons and identity card?? There is another way that should tell you what version you have allso. Look on her right hind foot and read the number and name next to pleo, it should tell you if she is Innova or Ugobe and you won't have to wonder or guess . Nice video too, I bet Gizmo is tickled to have a friend. I love her outfit by the way, very nice color.
