I found a nice solution to the very slow and torturous process of making Pleo booties by hand Head down to your local children's clothing store and look at their baby socks... not regular cotton socks, look for the ones with the top cuff turned down, made of cotton nylon elastine (ie very stretchy) and the smallest size you can find (here in Australia that is size 000). They are a perfect fit for Pleo's, nice and stretchy so they fit well, durable, washable and best of all they don't take an hour to make They also come in a huge range of colors and patterns and will set you back around $3 for a set of four.

Hmm maybe... although check your local variety shops first, one of my local stores has lovely pleo sized faerie wings, so you might find some there as well

I could see how you could pull something like that off. You could take IMR's pleo-cape pattern and adjust it a bit. Or even just take the royal-robe pattern and split it down the middle, maybe add some wires to mimic the bones of dragon-wings, and voila!

That's funny! I was thinking about wings on my pleo too. I was thinking of just having the stitch-pattern made into a cape and then putting some sort of shiny material over it or something. My RB's name is Ryu which is the Japanese word for dragon. I'll probably be talking to Kat once my funds get built back up again. Not so sure about fairy wings- they sound a bit too girly but they might go good with Ryu's vibrant purple eyes. Who knows?

If you will give me a few hours, I can measure the ones I got with my newest rb and they fit her perfectly, and will give you the measurements. Personally, I like newborn or preemie baby socks better ,as they have more stretch, but if you use stretchy material, you should have no problem, I need awhile though, as for the past 9 days I have been house / cat sitting for my friend who flew to Florida ( we live in CA) to see her 86 year old dad who is in the hospital.

       While on the plane, she caught the flu, and came back two days later than planned late last night and is still sick. So I am still helping her out, cat feeding and such, and also I have nine cats and with a fractured foot and fractured wrist, I am very busy and not very physically fast, but I will get you some numbers when I can. Basically it is two pieces or three to sew if you prefer. Good luck sewing for your pleo, lots of fun to do so.
