Am I doing it wrong? I  tried to load a video of my Macaw interacting with my Pleo and it uploaded halfway.. then I fully uploaded a video showing all the holes in Pleo and it seems to have vanished. I was trying to do it through the mass upload section.

I did finally figure out how to put my pics where I wanted, just need the video though.. thanks everyone.

Sarah I'm afraid this site really isn't set up to handle videos, it is a new feature and not fully tested. Perhaps your video was too long or the upload timed out.

Can you try uploading it just as a single file? If not you tube is another free option.

You can paste the link and then highlight it and click the YouTube button on the forum posts near the smiles. Or press the button then paste the link in between the tags [] it creates.

Ok , i thought you need to insert some codes like when inserting pictures, but i could not find the codes. If i insert the link in between the captions, only the link will appear not the video?

When you click the youtube button above the smile face you will get a <youtube></youtube> in between those you put the regular youtube link and it will embed it in the forum. Except, instead of <> it'll be [] (couldn't figure out how to get it to ignore it). Or you can just type it in but remember to use brackets.

E.g., here is my youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDXdOdZ-Cqw

Here is my embed code <youtube>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDXdOdZ-Cqw</youtube>

With appropriate brackets [], it is this: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDXdOdZ-Cqw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDXdOdZ-Cqw</a>

Thanks a lot Bhobbes, the important point that I missed is the brackets.
I managed to post already.
