Unfortunately, my self-made battery accidentally connected the reverse polarity and burned the slow-speed fuse. After replacing this fuse, I found that the system could not detect the battery capacity and turned off the module and went into sleep mode.I use two 1500mah lithium polymer batteries in series to power pleo. The system prompts as follows:

I used a multimeter to detect and draw the equivalent circuit diagram:

The "up7 d4"is the pin to connect to other circuit boards.

I changed the op amp and two 0.1 ohm sampling precision resistors in parallel and it didn't work. LM2937 normally provides 3.3v power supply, LM2941 normally outputs 5V before the system shuts down the module, and the switch terminal is set to close after sleep.

Hi Xu Peng,

Your drawing is not visible (at least to me).  Were you able to power up the Pleo with an 8 volt power supply and a 10k-15k Ohm dummy resistor for the Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) sensor ?

Cheers!

I found your drawing now!

I will see if I can find what the source of in1 and destination of out1 are.

Cheers!

You are passionate hahaha. 8)

I tried the adjustable power supply and the result was the same. The point is to figure out what circuit pleo relies on to detect battery power. What is the value of your normally started pleo at these monitoring points, be careful not to short-circuit the test leads. ;D :o

Hi Xu Peng,

I am working on it, but it might take me a while, okay!

I have a mock up that was working (but now is giving me problems).  I would rather use the mock up so that I don't have to deskin my working Pleo.

I will let you know as soon as possible.

Cheers

Hi Xu Peng,

Here are the power stats from a powered up pleo, not what you asked for, but an intermediate step!

<=== SENDING COMMAND ===>
stats power
                  Battery Voltage = 83, Min 83, Max 84 (tenths of a volt)
              Battery Temperature = 23, Min 23, Max 23 (degrees C)
                  Battery Current = 278, Min 278, Max 2659 (milliamperes)
Battery sensor value = 100 (% capacity remaining)
Battery sensor direct value = 100, Min 0, Max 100
              Battery Voltage A/D = 743, Min 643, Max 745
          Battery Temperature A/D = 345, Min 232, Max 346
              Battery Current A/D = 39, Min 39, Max 372
            Thermistor Resistance = 11390, Min 9713, Max 11448 (ohms)
Battery Internal Resistance = 0, Min 100000, Max 0 (milliohms)
Battery Capacity Consumed = 10 (mAh)
                       Powered up = true
                  RTK Adjustments = 0
                           RTK IK = 0
                           RTK VB = 0
Power monitor reset early warning = 0 (/LLO)

Hi Xu Peng,

Can you clarify how you numbered the pins 1-8 on connectors Up and D?

All 8 pins are connected to the daughter cards on left and right side of pleo.

I am starting to trace and check voltages this week.

Cheers!

Hi Xe Peng,

See if these pictures help!  Some of the outer traces got destroyed but you can almost make out what went where! %)

I am still working on a better solution!
