To make a short story long . . .
Not too far to the north of Dallas, Texas, forty plus years ago, there was an area of useless river bottom in the middle of nowhere that was turned into a nature preserve. Over the decades the cities grew and expanded. That nature preserve is now surrounded by exclusive high-cost neighborhoods. Those neighborhoods were built to house the wealthy residents of the high-tech businesses. One of those businesses is a a company that specializes in manufacturing life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Because they sell for a lot of money, many of the dinosaurs are not sold, but rented out for exhibits. And because life-size dinosaurs are rather large and since it's an expensive area, it's too costly to build big warehouses to store dinosaurs while they're not being rented. so, they arranged with the nature preserve to allow then to "store" the dinosaurs by placing them around the nature trails . . .

I tried a couple of times several years ago to contact the company to see about taking Bob to their manufacturing faclity, but they wouldn't even reply to my emails.
Oh, well. But the dinos are still interesting for Bob to see.
