I see.
I just thought they went to sleep. Although she did go to sleep at one point and my daughter in excitement kept poking her and waking her up lol.
Maybe she got poked to exhaustion. Oops!

She has a new battery coming anyway from the pleo site that I've ordered. As it seems to be the only place I can find them!
So least there's battery 2 incase battery 1 gives up anytime soon.

I've also got a pleo RB on his way too from Canada (poor pleo gonna be tired after travelling all this way!)
Which I'm quite excited about. He's a green version so Kido will have a twin brother

My house will be full of dinos before I know it lol

wow... the pleo bug has hit you too... Kid will be happy! I too want to order a battery but have had to ask PleoWorld about the security number on my pleo in order to sign in as I still don't have a manual... and Talon don't worry a bit about it... I want a print one anyway so am trying to order one from PleoWorld. Also an extra battery will be just like a diaper change... even if it is every twenty minutes!

I figured the same about battery changing

If my calculations work correct. The battery lasted 20 minutes during usb firmware update. Plus i believe an additional 45 minutes. Give or take.
So to say the battery is a pain to charge (green lights every 10 to 15 minutes)
It's not doing too bad!

Very excited for Kido's brother to arrive.
I ordered him yesterday morning (uk time)
As I believed Kido wouldn't come out of hybernation.
Kido was a gift given to me and I felt devastated not being able to hear her coo's like the pleo's I've seen on YouTube.
So comfort spending I decided to buy a pleo.
Now it seems Kido is full of life & still have another on his way!!

Already considering his names...oh dear lol!

There's a few of us here that have had the 'breeding Pleos' affliction!

They do usually go into sleep position when the battery runs down, but some just freeze - a couple of mine do sometimes.

You can host the video somewhere like Photobucket instead and post a link, or use Youtube and tweak the settings so that only people clicking on the link you have posted here can see the video. If that helps?

They don't, any communication is purely coincidental alignments of programming rather than true communication.

My two RB's communicate with each other, but if you put a ugobe next to a RB you swear they do

the programming is so lifelike it is great to watch ! Sadly my Ugobe Leo needs a new battery

But you wont be disappointed. There a quite a few video's of Ugobe and pleo rb's so you can see how they react to eachother. The video's of RWM are great, and if you want more information onyour new RB those of InmemotyofRomeo are fantastic ! You can find the video's here on this forum or on youtube.

For real communication between pleos you need either two Ugobe pleos running the same OS or two pleo rb's. Your new pleo rb once he gets old enough may try to communicate with your Ugobe pleo - he will do a loud Moo and then go very still like he is in a trance and make soft cooing noises but he will not get the appropriate response from the Ugobe pleo and so the attempt will end. Your Ugobe pleo will either ignore him completely or he may say "hello" just like they do to other Ugobe pleos but again the correct responses will not be given or received so communication attempt will end. As IMR says anything that you see between them is purely coincidental.

I've gotten a battery from eBay. The lady refurbishes old batteries then sells them. Mine arrived 2 days ago and it's been fantastic!
They are from Italy. So depending on where you are, depends on the best option. For me to get a battery from pleo world website to the UK would have cost a small fortune plus import duties.

I charge mine via the regular pleo charging cradle no problems.
My new battery lasts almost 2 hours (in all fairness I've not timed it exactly but I know it's been about 2 hours before it needs charging again.
To fully charge the new battery only takes 3.5 hours on average and the battery doesn't get warm while charging either.
I still have my original pleo battery. (It's fading dramatically) as a backup.

The lady I ordered my battery from also gives a 3 month warranty on them. Which I thought was great!
She answered all my questions before I bought one and was really helpful.
I'm still putting my new battery through its paces before reviewing on ebay, but so far it's been brilliant
