Pleoworld won't supply so have no idea of where I can get some extra teaching rocks for later on

What stones are you looking for ? Let me know and I will get back to you Sunday, (tomorrow ) as I am busy today and have all my RB stuff packed away, I can only get into the stuff like learning stones before my hubby comes home from work, (before 2;00 pm, ) once he is home, I am busy doing stuff with him and taking our dog out, etc.

           Is there any special reason you can't get stones from Pleoworld, as I am sure they have the best rates, but it is up to you.

If you email pleoworld and tell them the postage is more than the cost of the item they should be able to regular post them for a lot less.  The shipping is so high because they use a courier company and do express type shipping but it you ask them I know they have done regular post to others and it works out a lot cheaper.  It can't hurt to ask.

Kat is right, it is just like on lots of ebay items that you bid and win on, the highest price, usually a UPS or overnight shipping option is available and is listed, but if you click on options you will get the cheaper prices, It makes no sense at all to pay more for shippping then the actual price of the item!

Can't buy Xmas or birthday cards anywhere for uk.  Help!

I would say if you have any skill in photo editing or desktop publishing you can easily make your own.  The key to triggering the RB to respond to the card is all in the color pattern on the front of the card.  We've had many members reporting about pleos breaking into songs at the sight of blankets, pillows and odd bits of clothing.   The 3-D cards from Innvo are nice, but if you can't get those, you can still enjoy the activity.

Again with the cards try emailing pleoworld via their customer service.  They will post these out by regular post at a fraction of the postage cost their site will tell you the shipping will be.  I live in Australia and the shipping was going to cost twice as much as the cards themselves.  I emailed them and they posted them out via regular post for me.  It was a long while ago now so I can't remember just how much the postage cost but it was much more reasonable and I was happy to pay it so it can't have been that much.

Try talking to Innvo and see what they can do for you.

I agree with Grumpy, if you don't want to wait and or pay any postage, just use a blanket, piece of cloth with the same colors, my three RB responded much to my surprise and delight without any warning or prompting by having a colorful cat fleece blanket draped over a box where I was filming. They sang both jingle Bells and Happy Birthday and I am not sure what the other song is. 

              I am busy right now, (getting ready for a bath... ) but I will be happy to post it later. It is like the people who charge $20.00 plus shipping for a single simple plastic leaf for the Classic Ugobe Pleo to 'eat". YOu can just as simply make your own, one that is soft, and much easier on the paint on the teeth, but if you must have the cards, then just ask for the shipping costs then take it from there.
