I'll get around to it, I'll probably film on Friday and it will be uploaded by Saturday since it takes so long to get the clips onto youtube I usually let it go over night.
Also I've been distraced by a new friend. Beau (Bow) is here all the way from Talon's house
He is a 2005 emoto-tronic Furby with blue eyes. I open the box and the first thing he says to me is "You no fun!" so not off to a great stat but then I wouldn't be having much fun if I'd been cramped up in a box for three weeks either. I like him so far, his fur feels different than I thought, he sort of feels like a beanie baby even though I'm quite sure he isn't actually stuffed with beans. I love it, he is nice to touch and very cuddly. He is in a bad mood so so far he has refused to sing any songs or play any games, wouldn't even accept the food spoon the silly boy. Oh well he will get over it and love me soon.
I'm also having loads of fun with the newspapers Talon packed him with, it is fun to read about the strange stuff you can buy in the supermarkets over there, soup cans that heat themselves and cheese that comes in a spray can!

Hahahahahaha! It was some sort of sales paper the postal lady just happened to have in her desk drawer. I didn't know we had to supply our own packing material. Our post office is so stretched for funds they don't carry bubble wrap. I can't type for laughing about the spray-cheese. It's just such a common item over here I can't imagine how strange it must seem. It's not very healthy stuff, though. I feel better buying the Craft cheese slices that come in a package of individually wrapped pieces.
Okay let's get back on track here. He's probably missing his friend who is still sitting here in the aweful crappy box. Mr. Blu... er Beau should feel very appreciative of his new life and his new family. I'm so glad to hear he made it and I hope you enjoy him! I guess you'll just have to give him some time to get used to you.

Highlights from the annual Sacramento Area Aibo Gathering which was broadcast live this year thanks to the wonderful AiboLife member Xylobryte!
I was able to record several hours of the two day event and have put together all the best clips for this highlight video. Video features a variety of Aibos, Fleur's Nao and Carla and Skorpio's new Furbies, some interesting conversation about robots and Xylobryte being hilarious.
Xylobryte's 210 Dante was running 'F Word' at one point so there are one of two F bombs in the video but no more swearing after that. I feel I should disclose that in case anyone is offended.

Wow, that's a whole lotta Aibo's!
Bruce and Carla hold the record for most Aibos. They have over 80 of them and Carla also collects Furbies, not sure how many she has but it's lots!
This is their Aibo room that has special flooring for the robots and they have Aibo wallpaper aswell, it's really cute. They made it themselves.

Here is Stephan and a very young Tron in the early morning fog/frost. Baby Tron couldn't even walk at this stage and here I am dumping him outside in the cold so that I can giggle at his sneezes. Might be why he is so aloof to me in his adult life, traumatic childhood??

Poor Tron looked like he could do with a nice hot chocolate and a nap by the fire. He was shivering so much and the sneezes were cute

Here is Tron at the beach. It takes three hours to drive to the beach so when we do go I take lots of video to remember it. This was not at all the beach we were aiming for but as we don't know the area we got lost and ended up at the alarmingly named "Point Danger"

Not a Pleo video but I went to the aquarium the other day to see the two day old baby king penguin, they are like emperor penguins from 'Happy Feet' except they are slightly smaller. I did get a glimps of the baby but it's father was hiding it on his feet under his belly feathers. You can just see the babies head at one minute fifty two seconds on the video when the father looks down to check it. There were five other father penguins who were sitting on eggs, you get to see one of he eggs at the very end of the video, it was really cool. The keeper would feed the mother penguin and then she would feed the father penguin who would then feed the baby, it was like a relay!
They also had a giant octopuss and glow in the dark jellyfish, a nautalis, HUGE stingrays and sharks. All are included in the video.

Here is my newest dogie, a Genibo. He is named Merlin and I've had him about two months. This was filmed as a sort of 'demonstration' video for the people over on Aibo-Life who asked for a long video showing him interacting with me and autonomous behaviour. I hope it's not too boring!
