Hi everybody,
so happy to find a Pleo forum ! Sorry if my english is not very good.

I have received a pleo recently (but it's a 2006) and he was really quiet. I can hear some noise and he's moving just a little bit (eyes, head and tail). It was like this for 3 days. I tought that I should do an update. I try on pleoworld website to download and put the files on SD Card but when I insert the SD Card, nothing happen.
I have downloaded the LifeOS 1.0.2 here and I was surprised because when I insert the SD Card, I could hear the chimes like it should be. So everything was ok (i believe) but now, Pleo is not moving at all and all I can hear is a tic tic sound like a tic tac clock.

What can I do ? I'm so desparate.... I hope I didn't install something wrong. How can I retrieve my original Pleo ?

It could be a battery issue, what colour battery do you have, how long is it charging for and how old is it?

(90% of the older Pleo issues are caused by the batteries)

It does sound like it could be a battery issue, and don't try more updates until you have a fully charged battery that you are sure of.  Smiley

Thanks to both of you for answering me.

I have a green battery. I charge it the first time for about 3 hours before it turned on green light. Everytime I install sometime, I know that I should have a fully charged battery. I don't know anything about Pleo... I know that he have 4 stages. Right now, he's a new born, he act like that. But how long is it take, normally, to have more action with Pleo ?

Wich update is for Pleo 2006 ?

These are for the original Pleo's http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?action=downloads;cat=1

How long the hatching phase takes depends somewhat on the OS. Earlier OS's didn't take long but 2.0 has a fairly long hatching phase. But still you should see proper movement within a charge and some movement within a few minutes of patting and petting.

Thanks for the link InmemoryofRomeo
Can you tell me what's the POP OS ? Maybe, I should try it ? My Pleo have a fully charged battery on and he does nothing... no movement, no noise, it's weird since I have installed the LifeOS 1.0.2 on this page : http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?action=downloads;cat=1

I'm so happy, my Pleo is ok. Well, I install a downgrade so Pleo is in original state (new born). So now, what am I supposed to do ? Let Pleo turn ON (button On) and charge the battery when it's necessary ?

He's dooing a sound like Uhhhh for about 2 minutes right now. He moves his tail and head a little bit. How much time he will be a new born ?

Give him lots and lots of attention and you should see some movement within a few minutes.
