Hi, I am not sure if I have seen this discussed before, but on the older Ugobe or Innvo LaB Pleos, does temperture affect them working or not? What I mean exactly is if the Pleo itself is very very cold to the touch, will it need to warm up to room temperture in order to work properly? Roll Eyes I just got a Pleo new in the box , perfect looking but very very cold to the touch, still smells stinky as well and has an old admendum note in box about Scenario I  have never seen before. Just wondered if body temperture affects working or not, the computer parts need to warm up.
He was shipped from a very cold place with lots of snow and he is freezing to the touch ( his skin) compared to my other Pleos. Thanks.

As a general rule, I always let anything computerized warm up to room temperature before turning on. I don't know if this specifically applies to Pleos, but since it is computerized, I would thInk so. Smiley

Thanks Saratoga, how are your Pleos doing, Jack and Wilbur? I do think letting the Pleo warm up is a good idea. he is so cold, I couldn't believe it, actually colder than my living room, and beleive me it is cold! Cold smiley Maybe I should warm him or her up quicker with some clothes too.                RWM

As Springer says, anything mechanical/electronic that arrives, I  let it acclimatise to room temperature before switching on. Smiley

Hi Crewella , thanks, This is a brand new "looking" pleo, but the former owner bought it for Chrristmas, could not get it to work. I would appreicate after it warms up if the egg battery does not work, knowing what to do next? There is not a mark on this guy, but I know you have had some success with "bricked" Pleos. If nothing else, this guy has 100% great skin as a project. Thanks for help, I am also currently charging a egg battery 100% as I have read if doing downgrades, upgrades, etc, always use a fully charged battery and I do  have lots of SD cards on hand. Nothing looks broken, nothing loose, so who knows. The person did not know anything about resettting or anything else.

After warming up, what should the next step be guys?              RWM                Oh, and his skin is still Stinky! Cool pleo
