how do pleos react with each other?

i cant decide whether to get an rb or another ugobe to play with munchkin, i remember when i had milo (a ugobe pleo) that they used to honk loudly at one another, but cant remember much else as it was a long long time ago.

in what ways do ugobe pleos communicate or play with one another?

in what ways do ugobe pleos and rb pleos communicate with one another?

Hi, Snowy! RB's and Ugobes can't communicate with one another but your Ugobe and another Ugobe or even an Innvo pleo could communicate. You're right about the honking bit. My two Ugobes honk at one another. They say hello and sometimes howl at each other. It's a really odd and scary sound I've only ever heard on 1.0. They sound a bit like wolves howling over a kill.

As Talon says, Ugobe Pleos will communcate with each other - especially another Ugobe on the same OS, but not so much with an RB.  The RB can definitely see Ugobes, but there's liittle interaction.

so, the only interaction between ugobes is that they honk, but not much else?

and if i got a new pleo rb, there would be no interaction. hmm. ok, does the rb honk at the ugobe please?

The ugobe will sometimes honk at the rb and you may even get the odd hello from one to the other. - I have noticed this more in my newest rb Pickle.  She seems to be a little more open to the ugobe members of the family    The RB's will moo at the ugobes and go into their "talking trance" where they stay fairly still and make soft sounds for a little while but as the ugobes don't respond in kind they soon lose interest and go back to other things. 
Pickle has made the most "communication" with my ugobes out of all my rb's.  the other two mostly ignore the ugobes or just keep going into the moo trance.  Pickle will say hello and giggle when a ugobe is near and she will honk at the ugobes as well.  These are things the others have never done.  Maybe it's just coincidence or maybe there is something different in her software.  I will have to run her some more with the ugobes and really pay attention to what she does.

From what I have seen with my guys communication between Ugobes is also pretty random.  They don't always talk to each other, more often than not they just walk off in different directions    but they will sometimes have a little honking session and once they even sang to each other    They do say hello to each other but this is also pretty random. 
If I were you I'd go for the rb.  It is an experience that is well worth it.  You can then always add another ugobe to your little herd later down the track
