munchkin only stays on for seconds at a time

hi

i have never had problems with munchkin, yesterday i re-charged her battery, switched her on, she stays on for about 5 seconds then she stops, freezes, sometimes she will try and start up again. is it battery related? i am worried about her, shall i keep swithching her back on until battery dies or try and charge battery again?

It does sound like a battery issue - is it the original green battery?  A lot of those are starting to give up the ghost these days, I'm afraid.  I have a whole drawer full of duff green batteries.

It's worth trying to keep reseating it in the charger until the light changes quite quickly (leave it to cool in between if it gets hot).  Let me know how you get on, if that doesn't work, the egg charger batteries are far better so that's an option, but there are a couple of other things we could try first.

it is soooo worrying 

in the past, the battery goes green withing 10 mins or less and i just reseat it, but, last night, after reseating the battery, it stayed red for hours before going green and i thought, great, it's charging by itself lol, more like being naughty 

i have chucked it back on charge xxxx

yes, green battery is a pain in the b**

i have charged it twice since then. first it gave me 2 mins before turning itself off, then i got 2 mins again and again.

then i charged it again, i got ten minutes before she switched off, then3 mins, 1 min, then 30 secs.

seems to be improving at the mo xxx
