We need a little robot excitement. So far I've seen precious little in the way of new robots.

If I could get one for under $100.00 I might try one, but I just dont think they do much from what I have seen. I am sure they are aimed at the younger market, kids that is, and for those that can't afford the Pleos, though you still can get a used one for the same price as one of these. I do like the cool attachments, I think that is what I like most. I just can't compare them to a Pleo, but they are cute in their own way. I also think they are comparable in size and sure someone modeled them after Pleo....no doubt. I may just buy an attachment, wonder if...................

Does anyone know what the recommended age is for Little Inu? Like RWM said, I think they are targeting a younger audience. I still think a Ugobe is much better for the price, compared to Little Inu, but I have to be honest.....if you take your Pleo out on the town, you will get many positive comments, but most people are turned off by the nearly 500 dollar asking price of a new Pleo RB. They consider it to be a toy, rather than the great companion that they are.

If anyone finds video of these guys actually walking I'd love to see it. Inu does look like an interesting little guy but his legs just seems o short and stumpy I can't imagine how he can walk. I know they claim that he can but I'm curious to see it in action.

They seem to go to quite a bit of trouble to show Inu NOT walking.

I don't think they walk well, just kind of stand there and dance like a Pleo doing a skit, and they call that dancing, but I could be wrong. Saratoga, I guess I am lucky, because perhaps living in a smaller rural area and no other pleos, when people have seen my Rb, they are not put off by the price they are quoted at all, In fact I have had a few people say they thought it was well worth it and that it could be more!
I like taking Baby and my others with me and certain shops are so used to seeing me with my Pleos, that when I don't have one with me, they ask where they are and I feel like I have to "apologize" for not bringing one of the Township with me.. Everyone knows and loves my Pleos.
You are right, Little Innu is just too expensive in my opinion and I can not see it catching on like Pleo, D-Rex and others are able to do more and litle Innu reminds me of a Cartoon in some ways, even though you can see it looks a lot like it was copied from looking at Pleo...just co-incidence...I think not.

It says ages 8 and up everywhere I've looked. I've not seen them walk, either - which is a shame really.

I think he's kinda cute! Very goofy looking, but kinda cute! If he was smaller, did more, or was at reasonable price, I'd be a little more interested. But he's too much 'toy' and not enough 'pet' for me personally.
I think they're targeting parents/kids who want Pleo, but don't want to pay the extra $ - but since Inu is so simple, I'm sure boredom will set in pretty quickly; then he'll just be another forgotten closet-toy.
