I hope everyone is ok from the storm.. we have had no power for several days and it's not expected to be on until MAYBE the end of the week...they don't even know yet.  Plus we will be like, the last people as we live on a silly little off road in the woods with mostly summer places so no one cares if we die. lol.
Ugh.. and we WERE prepared but both Generators broke and some jerk bought all of them around here and is selling them on Craigslist for ridiculous amounts of money (We are hoping they get stuck with them, jerks.. )
So we are going to go traveling and find a really good one so we can get the whole house going because WE SMELL and we want to BATHE! lol.. Pond water is gross!
Well we have to turn off the crappy generator to go hunting for the good one so.. seeya!! (And I need to find a HAT! lol)

Glad you're OK - I actually envy you being out in the woods like that, but I know it's not so great when the power's out.  Hope you get the generator sorted!

Good Luck Latrine, I know what it is  like to have to tough it out when you are isolated like that. I hate people like that who feed off of other peoples's misfortunes and mother natures' natural disasters to try and make a buck or more...I do believe they will get theirs full circle. Pond water is not good bathing for sure. I do understand no power and the worst part for me is not having power for my fish and the oxygen they need. I hope you get your power back soon. Hope you can at least find a hat soon. Guess your pleos are getting a good rest in the meantime...Stay safe and strong.

Wow! All we got was a lot of rain. North Carolina got the worst. I hope you can get everything straightened out. *groan* I hope we can get things straightened out too. Hanging out at Ponera Bread Company right now using a hotspot. This living in limbo with no internet is killing me!

Yes, in a hurricane area people unfortunately like to take advantage of others.  I lived in North Carolina for 5 years, and we went through 4 hurricanes.  I paid a guy 900 bucks for him to put 10 shingles back on my roof.  The only reason he did it is because he was replacing the entire roof on the house next door.   I hope you get to take a shower soon! I've definitely been there!
