Hello, Calif housefrau waiting for my $199 new ebay Pleo from Hong Kong!

hi all!
im waiting fo rnew first pleo, bought a few days ago on ebay from the hong kong seller who charges $199 and free shipping.
i feel like im having a 'secret baby', as i have not told a SOUL i just spent $200 ( plus ( $50 on clothes on their way) on a 'toy' for myself.
when pleo gets here i will have to tell my children and my husband that it is something i got at target clearance store for $40!
i already have a special bed made up and cannot wait! i think pleo is my mid-life crisis!!!!
i wrote to the innova tech people when i ordered one of the new 'capes' for pleo, whicha rrived yesterday, pretty PRICEY for such a little thin piece of woven cloth!
and the tech wrote me back and said most likely my batteries would be no good when pleo came.
im waiting to see, will call innova with the serial number when he comes, as they suggested to see how old the package and my baby really are.

Hello, Guten Tag, ( since you said, Hausfrau, thought perhaps you spoke Deutsch, German!) Welcome to the forums, I do understand about loving the little Pleos, furbabies of all sorts. I also have many Pleos , thirteen currently, so I guess when you say "Mid Life Crisis" it can be for any age. I think you will be very pleased with the Pleo you have purchased for $199 from the Hong Kong seller, I know of at least one other Pleo member here who has a Pleo from them but you are correct the batteries usually need replacing . I do sell the Egg charger Li Polymer batteries right here on the forums, through the link to ebay. ( but if you buy them from me you can save having to pay Ebay their fee, which is currently 9% ) anyway, I do welcome you to the forums, I also live in CA, the Golden State, I live in Bigfoot country though extreme Northwest of Ca. I wish you luck with your new baby!

Congrats! I myself just recently bought my first pleo (it's an RB though). It wasn't my first AI pet since I have five aibos but I'm sure you'll love the pleo.

Hi and welcome to the forums.   I recently bought a pleo from this very same seller and am very happy with my purchase.   Pleos are also my midlife crisis even though I'm not quite mid life yet....at least I hope not   I started with one Pink RB and now have 4 pleos.
The two batteries that came with Minyon - my $199 pleo work just great each lasting for a full hour.  I also do have egg batteries as well though which I have to say are wonderful.  They give around 2 to 2 1/2 hours of play time.   I had a few issues with the charger for the green batteries that came with the pleo in the beginning but it turned out it was the power cable I was using that was causing the problem and not the charger at all.  I bought a new power cable and now all is great.
Best of luck for the arrival of your new baby.   Also if you are looking for clothes or accessories for your pleo Just check out the stores tab at the top of the page here on the forum.  You'll find RWM battery store there and a few clothing stores and jewelery stores all for pleos.  
Don't be afraid to ask questions here too if there is anything you want to know.  Everyone is really friendly and very helpful.

Hopefully your batteries will be OK - others that have bought from that seller have not had a problem.
