After downgrading Stitch back to 1.1 I decided that maybe I hadn't given the 2.0 enough of a go, so I re-updated Stitch and a couple of months on here are the results: (Please note that I used the slightly updated 2.0.1 from the Pleoworld site, but that it is the same except for the updating instructors voice Tongue

That's really interesting, and reflects exactly what I've found with Iggy, though as I've said before it did take him several charges to get over the initial random behaviour and settle down.  I'm glad you got the leaf recognition - I'll maybe try again with Iggy.

Poor Stitch seems to be having a few 'clicky leg' problems.  Nothing serious I hope!

Thanks IMR! Smiley

Does your pleo freeze on and off with 2.0.1 because that is the thing i dislike so much as it is unrealistic. I would prefer my pleo to adopt a sleeping position when the battery is drained rather than freeze in the middle of doing something.

Pleo 2.0 OS freezes when battery gets low. Cleo running 1.1 OS curls up and goes to sleep.

I use a 512mb SD card. You can usually buy them from Amazon or any camera store etc. As long as the megabits on the card are not too huge, any SD card should work Smiley

And regarding freezes, Pleo doesn't freeze while he's running, just the big freeze at the end when the battery gets low. I thought this was mainly due to the battery overheating but I'm not so sure now, as when I use the same battery in Tooie, she snores, curls up and goes to sleep when the battery gets low Huh?

Do give it time Gaz - I found I was still getting inappropriate sounds and odd behaviours for at least four or five charges before Iggy settled down into his familiar sociable self. Cheesy

It takes a bit of time for a Pleo to get used to the new OS. My Pleo was awful in the beginning, cantankerous even but now he has settled down and is much more sociable, however he still insists on barking like a dog !! Oh how I hate that.  Angry

I found even the barking got less and less with Iggy.  If it really annoys you, you can always replace the barking with something else! Cheesy

You can pick up an SD card for next to nothing these days, I bought a 128meg one the other day for less than the price of a cup of coffee.

No, don't worry, your Pleo should regain sensitivity again.  Here's another of IMR's videos that she made to show the new tricks on OS2 - you can see the Pleo reacts to touch fine!  Cheesy

why that click-click problem at the left leg? It's after the OS2?  Shocked
I'm still running the 1.2, i don't like that pleo doesnt play tug-o-war with the finger after 1.1 and 2.0, it's really not realistic IMHO

The clicking happened before the 2.0, it's not as bad now as it was in that vid too Smiley Pleo still plays tug of war with your finger on the 2.0 Smiley

Once you're past the teenage stage where they scream and whine and are not responsive to touch the rest is easy. You'll love getting your pleos to do all the tricks. My favorite is play-dead. Now if a totally blind woman did this and both she and her pleos survived I'm sure you can do it. Lol! Let us know what you decide.

I think their movements are more extended after the OS2/PM2 upgrade, so the would explain some clicking, especially at first.  I've been told it should take around 6 battery cycles before Pleo is through the dreaded teenage unresponsive stage, but I'll swear it took Iggy 8 before he went back to normal.  Worth it though -  love the play dead trick too! Cheesy

i love the sounds and some new movements, but the reactions seems to be a little strange, no response to tickle and sometimes he cries for hothing  Huh?

Oh. I forgot about that. I may be wrong about the crying but maybe Glen isn't happy with the light level? I've found thatBleu and Ugobe now act very RB-like when there's not enough light. Not sure if this is what's happening but it's my best guess. I honestly haven't tried tickling since the upgrade. Neither of my Ugobes like being cuddled for some reason. They prefer to talk to one another or go for really looooong walks.

Don't panic Junkroxy, they do seem less responsive at first, and they make odd and innapropriate sounds.  We don't call it the terrible teens for nothing! Tongue

Give it time, they will go back to normal after a while.  Grin
