Title: different between "OLD"Pleo and 2009 Pleo

Hy,

I Ordered my first Pleo :-)

But i have a question (sorry for my bad english)

How can i make shure that i have the new Pleo 2009
Serial number?
Blue eyes?
Skin smoother than the "old" Pleo?

If you have the new pleo the battery will have an Innovo logo on it.
If you have the old Pleo the inner packaging will be made of polystyrene (white inside box)

From your description, It looks as if I have the old one. Is that bad? lol. What's the difference between the two?

The new ones had improved paint/neck cable and hearing... it really shouldn't be a major issue though, most of us here have he earlier ones :)

Yeah. In fact, I just got a first hatch (one of the first pleos ever made). I guess that could be called....ancient.  ;D

I got an email from pleoworld support when I sent a message regarding battery life problems:


 
 
There is a simple way to distinguish between Ugobe Pleo or Innvo Labs Pleo by checking the serial number, the 12 digits serial number of all Innvo Labs Pleo is formatted as 8168XXXXXXX8 . The serial number is found on the bottom feet of Pleo.
 
So the Serial number’s are: 816800000018, 816800000028, 816800000038.................816800005998, 816800006008, etc, etc. These are the NEW AND IMPROVWED INNVO LABS VERSION PLEO’S.

So basically they all have 816 at the beginning. Easy enough. :)
I wonder if they're doing the First Hatch thing with the new Pleos or not? Anyone here get a new pleo with a gold card?

   Nope not me.
  Would be interested to know if anyone else did though.
 Don’t know if they did a first hatching thing with the 2009 Pleos but hopefully they will with the next gen models.
     Be cool if they could give it maybe golden eyes?
