wow niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice Videos about the Pleo-Sktis i have too times tries something like to make, sadly has Jimmy not the Mouth moves. :( How has you it managed that your 2 Pleos their Mouths on to makes? :o

I always do the mouth movements first and then build the body movements around it. MySkit does have a built in editor to do the mouth but you need to highlight a small section and use the mouth wizard, then move on to the next bit. A little at a time :)
I also do the mouth movements by hand, I don't use the mouth wizard built in.

Sadly the eye blinks are pretty much beyond my control, Pleo can't close his eyes when his mouth is open which means that eye blinks have to be placed in between mouth movements, in this case they did turn out pretty well, although I would have like to have Pleo with his eyes half closed through the song so he looked even sadder :P

IMR, very nicely done, I love these skits and this song is a " heart tugger" and Lilo ( or stitch) has the movements down perfectly. I do not know if you have already done it or not, but my favorite ' sad" song from all time is Elvis's " Love me Tender". Have you ever done this one before? If so if you could ever do it I would love to try it myself, My favorite Sad song of all time though ( used to be Love Me Tender for years and years) is Clapton's , " Tears from Heaven.", Now that song has me crying buckets of tears everytime I hear it, esp because I know the tragedy behind it with Claptons son's death at age 4. :( :(( Makes me want to cry just thinking about it,,,) I think that song is just TOO TOO SAD TO DO THOUGH.... :(

Sorry guys, had a major virus alert on my pc today, took me most of the day to remove the stupid thing (and delete the lousy friend who sent it to me). (Hence why I spent all day doodling on my ipad :P) I won't get the chance to look at it til the weekend now, I lost a whole days uni work today and I'll need to catch up.

I just hate that when some stupid person tries to infect someone's computer with a virus, trojan or malawared...What a destructful thing to do to someone for no reason at all ... >:( >:(I really think it is somethiing that should be proscecuted to the utmost. Hope your computer returns to normal soon with no more worse for the wear. I would love to see the Elvis, Love me Tender, that is my FAVORITE ELVIS SONG, and the one song that will probably really try to make me do a skit! Take care though and get your sleep and your computer back to normal running condition before you try any of these skits, these are all just extras for us. I really do hope you get no more Viruses, did you have a Virus scannning protection program or was it a email that was maliciouos that you opened? :o

They wanted me to 'check out' their new webpage, next thing I know my anitviruses are going off the Richter scale :( The worse thing is this is someone I have known for 5 years :( I have it all cleared up now (I hope) but it took an awful lot of mucking around to remove.

Last year my computer got a Trojan.....It destroyed my computer totally. I had to start all over again....I lost everyting......I only have one thing to say..... F*** YOU VIRUS CREATORS!!!

Just tried to download 'Welcome to my World' but couldn't - is that because of changes happening in the downloads section, or is the site down? Sorry to be a pest, just wondered? :o

I've been trying all night but can't get on there to download any of the links - does anybody out there have a copy of Welcome to My World downloaded that they could send me as an attachment? Pretty please? ;D ;D ;D

Bloomin' typical - just as I'd convinced myself there was either something wrong with my PC, or this was something to do with the new downloads section, the links work fine again. Must have been the Mediafire site. Sorry! And phew! :-[

Was probably media fire :) I tried to upload it last night on here though and I got an error about downloads being full. Glad you got it finally :)
I haven't forgotten about the two skits I promised too, I started them but I've had some problems with repetitive stress injury in my mouse hand :P at the moment using the computer for longer than an hour or so becomes too painful. Can't do anything about it except rest my right wrist as much as possible, i'm glad my iPad doesn't need a mouse :) But I wish it had my skit :D

I get a really sore spot on my wrist, almost a callus, from all the picture editing I have to do for work using the mouse so I completely sympathise. It's frustrating, but really not worth pushing it! Honestly! ;)

IMR, sorry to hear about your hand, I know kind of how that feels, my right hand is getting pretty arthritic from using it so much and being on the computer and filliing out customs forms, etc, Rest that hand and don't worry about getting those skits out today, or even tommmrow, your health is way too important. Do you soak it or use aloe Vera or have you ever tryed blue Emu Gel for pain and swelling? Take care. RedwoodsMama and little house of Pleos

great job IMR, Esp love, love, loved Love Me Tender. I love Elvis and this is my fave song of his, Even watching Pleo doing it, ( is this Lilo or is it Stitch?) brings a tear to my eyes..You defintily got the feeling there and holdiing Pleo to your chest is all you could do. Thank you again for doing that song for me, Are these very difficult to do, I mean is the hardest part fitting the movement of their mouth to match the song, and just how do you do that anyway? One of these days I will get brave enouhg or adventuresome enough to actually try one myself, I have the perfect song I want to do, one that I know has not been done yet, and just the right Pleo for the song. How do you get access to the songs, I mean copyright laws etc, is it what is called, " Public Access, lilke T.V. shows that are broadcast for free on the internet?
Glad your hand is feeling better. Of course I do know that Blue Emu is made in Australia, where else indeed! We do have a few Emus here in town at our local zoo, but the zoo is not into promoting Emu products. :D Batman is cute too, and I know the person who requested that will be very happy. Hope you recovered from your recent trip and had a nice holiday by the way.
Nova and her brothers and sisters will be watching this "Love Me Tender" Video in the morning, Llitlte guys went trick or treating, and Poor Little 45's Cold is spreading through the house like wildfire, and Major and the Twins ate too much sweet stuff, sure wish I had that Peppermint leaf now, guess I will brew some Peppermint tea and give that to them! :D

I'm going to let the cat out of the bag here, but really, creating skits is very, very easy. MySkit does all the hard work. I alway add the movements first and once I'm happy with that I go ahead and add in the mouth movements. It is the hardest part but just take your time and you'll get through it, if I am stuck sometimes I try saying the part out loud and seeing where my mouth is open the most. There's no need for any coding or anything and you can view the results as you go right in the MySkit program. If you really want to you can use MySkits own library to add movement and the mouth wizard to add the voice, it may not be as acvurate as doing them by hand but it still produces a decent skit. The only problem is that people are too afraid to just give it a go and play with all the buttons and options :)

I love how they cuddle up to you, and its probably easier on you since you don't have to work with leg movements as much :D

I like doing the leg movements :) But I feel Love me Tender is a more personal song so I wanted to keep it so :)
I'll give this one a go, although I think the mouth movements may pose a problem, the song is a little fast in spots but I'll see what I can do :)

I am working on it :) But I am having a lot of trouble with the voice, Pleo's mouth cannot keep up so it either looks likes he catching flies or he is mumbling :P

FYI, just in case you don't feel like crying like a baby.. don't click on my Kermit video, there's a ton of you tube of Big bird and one of all the Muppet singing together with their puppeteers at Jim Henson's benefit when he died.. I grew up with those guys.. that's my excuse for crying.. especially the big bird one.

Not going to happen %) I can't stand Justin Beiber :P Also songs that are too fast simply do not work at all, they look terrible and I would never upload a skit I wasn't happy with.

yup, i'm not a fan either %), i just thought it would be funny, but i guess it would look really odd if they were singing without moving their mouths. :D
Would Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" be too fast also? (I am guilty of being a fan of her though :D) If not, do you know if anyone has done it?

Yup still too fast, Pleo RB might be able to do some of these faster songs but there is no taylor made MySkit for the RB's yet. If you check my downloads you can see just how slow the songs need to be.

Yep, you're quite safe Luckypleo. Like the personalities, when you remove the SD card with the skit on it your Pleo goes back to normal! Have fun! :D

IMR, just wanted to let you know, we loaded your 'I'm so lonesome I could cry' on my nieces and nephews pleo, my oldest nephew and my brother were the only ones there, and we left it on him.. tomorrow after school they are going to tell my littlest niece, whose 5, and is always very concerned about Pleo being happy, that he wouldn't turn on and seemed very sad.. and when she turns him on... lol... I hope they get it on video like they promised and if they did I'll see if I can post it :)
I just have to say, you do an amazing job matching the mouth and everything.. my brother didn't know I'd put a card in and he was like 'what the.... ' and then everyone was hysterical while he was singing.. and then we started to feel bad because he looked REALLY sad.. lol. but everyone loved it and tomorrow's reaction should be priceless :D

Ok.. in order to get him to move his mouth correctly, as it does stick at times and singing a song is a new thing for poor patches, I actually had to lube his teeth up with a very small amount of Vaseline.. lol. I don't recommend doing this, normal Pleos don't need it and it gets into everything but his mouth just couldn't match up properly at all without it.. It's still slightly off but he looks very cute.. I couldn't help giving him a scratch because he looked so depressed..
It didn't let me record the entire song but I got most of it. :)

Just a thought though, if you are using an older SD card then that could be causing the sound/mouth issue. I have one memory card that causes the sound and movement to go out of sync.

Seriously? I have fine sound on mine,.. weird.. and it's a brand new sd card.. works perfect on Lyssa, i figured its screwy on patches because he moves faster or off.. :/ Sorry bout that guys. :/

I am going nuts trying to do a song myself.. I can't even format the darn mp3 to a wav file, win-amp is being a jerk. I hate using someone else's computer.. I am being a little overly ambitious I guess.. trying to do the song 'chasing cars' by snow patrol.. I've been watching too much 'Greys Anatomy' on TV and it got me in the mood to go download the song. It's legal and everything, dunno why I can't change it.. if you don't know the song :

When I hit the forward or play button this is what I got:" This video contains content from SME, The Harry Fox Agency,Inc. (HFA) Warner Chappell and UMPG publishing, one or more of whom have blocked it in your country on grounds of copyright grounds." so this means I did not get to see your video... :(I have access to the download, but If I were to try it and upload it myself also with one of my pleos, I would also more then likely have the same problem.
I do not know who Harry Fox or Warner Chappell are and I am not familiar with the song, so I was looking forward to seeing the video that you did as they are always fun and well done. Are you allowed to see them in your country? What a shame... RWM :cat-hug:

Hey, my pleo rb hasnt arrived yet, but i just wanna know :
If i put an alternative personality into Pleo using SD Card, then how to revert back to original personality ? Is it just remove the the SD Card or should i put another file ?

Yep, the personality stays on the micro SD card, so just remove it to go back to normal. :)
