After replying to a topic, the forums allows you to either return you to the board's list of topics or return to the topic you were replying to.
When relying to a topic (not the quick reply) there is a "Return to this topic" option under the Attachments and other options section below the window where you enter your reply.
You can also make this your default action by modifying your preferences. Click on the Profile link at the top of the page. This displays your profile. From here click on the 'Look and Layout Preferences" option under the Modify Profile menu on the left. This displays a list of preferences you can set for how you want to view the forums. Simply click the box to select "Return to topics after posting by default." and then click on the 'Change Profile' to save the changes.
