Hello everyone,
so where I work, we got two Pleo dino's RB, we use them to let them play with little children.
When I tried to start them, one of them didn't do anyhting. The green light does turn on, on his belly, but he doesn't make any movement or noise... The other one works perfect.
Does anyone know or have an idea what the problem might be?
The battery and the clock are inserted on the right way at both the dino's
Kind regards! :)

Hi Arjandejong!
Have you tried any of the PleoRB utilities on SD card (like StatsRB or ProbeRb)?
Both are in the downloads section of the forum.
detailed instructions at: [AiboHack] ProbeRB - PleoRB Personality tells you how it is feeling (http://www.aibohack.com/pleorb/proberb.htm)
If there is something wrong with the startup files on the Pleo, these should still run (maybe). ;D
Try it an see what you get and let me know!
Cheers,
Peter

Hi Arjandejong!,
Any luck getting your RB to start with a script on a SD card?
The reset software can be tricky if the SD card function or battery is not working properly!
Cheers!

Hello Peter,
Well i am not a programmer hahah, so where I work I will give it to some programmers and hope they can fix it with the download scripts which can be downloaded here.
So let's hope the best.
I think the battery is working fine, because it does give a green light on his belly. But the thing is. he doesn't move or make any noise.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Arj,
Just for thought (IMHO) ;)
A green led takes about 3 volts and 200 milliamps to light up. The pleoRB needs about 8 volts and up to nearly 2400 milliamps to run!
Does this battery work in your other Pleos at work?
Cheers!

heei,
Yeh we have four of those brown li-polymer batteries, they work in the other pleo.
So if the program with the SD-card won't work, then I have no clue anymore what could help

Arjan
