Title: Pleo makes wakeup noise and does nothing else

Hi All
Im very new to all this. Our old school Pleo has not been used in a long while so we thought we would get him out.
We charged the battery and popped it in turned him on and he makes the wake up "MMMM" noise and thats all. He doesnt move and continues to make that noise.
We have never downloaded anything on to him or put an SD card in. is this the problem?? or is he broken??

Most likely it's a old, dying battery.  It has just enough voltage to start the pleo.

He is quite old and not been used for awhile.
Where is the best place to get a battery? Ebay??
