Well, with Kuri, Jibo, and Cosmo and Vector all dying within the last year, we have a new robot pet coming out soon: Kiki (https://www.zoeticai.com/).
For us Pleo fans, according to the article in Wired (https://www.wired.com/story/the-second-coming-of-the-robot-pet/), the creators of KiKi, have Caleb Chung as one of their advisors. It goes on pre-sale later this month. Not sure I'm ready to gamble so soon on another pet robot, but it looks cute.
