Lovot does seem like a pretty cute and charming bot, despite the slightly funny appearance! I like that it can be picked up to be cuddled and the different outfit options are cute. The price definitely steers me away though. Lovot costs around $3000 plus a monthly subscription fee of around $100-200 depending on the plan chosen, which seems ridiculous to me. There is an English site here (https://lovot.life/en/), though I am not sure whether there is a US release planned.

Wow! That's certainly a hefty price tag. Nope. Not for me. For a minute I thought this was a relative of that Freebo thing that automatically connects to other Freebos and tells thee owners what all the other Freebos who belong to their friends are up to. Ummmmmm... No. Instant stalker anyone?
