Title: IMR's Furby Furbling review :)
Post by: InmemoryofRomeo on June 01, 2014, 02:18:12 AM
As promised! I did it in one take so sorry about the rambling and undo-operative furbies. I think some of my guys need a reset :P I've had a bit more of a play with it since the video was done, but what you see is all you get. I am decidedly unimpressed and my recommendation would be to avoid until the price drops. And if you want a cheap furby go for the rockers.

Thanks for the review  ;D you made it very clear you can better spend your money on something  else ;)
(In my case, Iam saving for a blue or pink pleo  :-* :-X)

Yup, unfortunately there's not much about them to get excited about :( I hope they update them or something.

Thanks for the review. In my case I was not even that impressed with the 2012 Furby, It took me almost a whole year to even open up my 2012 Furby and I got one when they first came out. The personality changing was fun for about ten minutes or so and by the time the first half hour came around, I knew Furby was just going to sit and collect dust, not like a pleo. ( Pleos collect dust only cause I am too busy, or am having some upsetting moment in my life, but not because I am bored with them...) So Furby 2012 became a gift to another forum member and even though the personalities were "mildly" amusing, they were not my cup of tea and I could not see myself really engaging myself with them..

Furby Furbling on the other hand would be a total waste of money in my mind, could not get even mildly excited over that. I think a lot of people will thank you for this review. If they like it, then your review helped them decide to go ahead and get one, but if they were not impressed, then you saved them some money.............RWM  :cat-hug:

Grr! I can't see links for videos at all on the forum anymore. Not sure what's going on. Anyway, that's messed up that the Furbling does so little. Does the Furbling even respond on its own when the Boom speaks to it? Even the original Furby Babies were more autonomous than that. They had individual games separate from the original Furby that could be played with their human parent.

I have to say, IMR, that your presentation was much more entertaining than the furbling itself! :D

Thanks for posting the link, IMR. I'm going to have to go into my settings in Firefox and see if I can find out what in the world is going on. Anyway, very nice review! I wouldn't pay that price for "a ball with a button on it" as you so eloquently put it.
