Post by: InmemoryofRomeo on October 23, 2012, 12:43:27 AM
Sorry peeps, Mweed gave me these videos ages ago to edit and upload but my internet has been a wee bit cranky and I haven't been able to do it until now. But here they are, instructions on how to replace a Pleo skin :)

Here is the quick version:

Saw the short version, very cool, but when I tried to play the detailed version it was a NO GO, said blocked in "my country", due to copywrite laws...What is with that....Can anyone outside of US see it.? I was looking forward to seeing Dr. Mel and the long version.                   RWM

Just curious as I have several pleos that need some skin repair. Did this video, the longer version ever get fixed? I really would like to see this

IMR, sorry, I see it works now. Thanks so much. Will watch it later while I look at one of my pleos that needs some new skin.

K... where exactly are the videos? I have seen no links on these, or any videos on the forum, so without videos there is not even audio. I guess I'll need to look them up somewhere else.

I'm beginning to think this might be a JAWS/Flash Player issue, Echo. I haven't been able to see links for videos on here for a very long time myself. I'm having the same problem with both JAWS and NVDA.  I suggest seeing if your flash player needs updating and then going to... *scratches head in thought*... maybe internet options and checking to see if there is a way to uncheck "hide media plugin" needed to view media on the forum? At least that's my plan of attack for now. Anyone who is more familiar with not being able to see links for video content, please feel free to chime in. Would Internet options be the right place to look for this? In the meantime you could also just ask IMR the name of the video and search for it on Youtube. That seems to work for most of my video issues.

Hi everyone, my name is Elaine and I'm new here. I have a used ugobe pleo and knew about the paint and skin issues. He already has paint rubbing off his back which I cover with a dog shirt. But, he doesn't have any skin tears at the moment. I was just asking if there's anyone who can replace the skin, in case it happens.  I can't afford a pleo rb and I don't want to fix him myself.
