Hi,
I was browsing the Google Play Store and noticed a PLEO rb Follow me app. I downloaded it but it just asks for a password and I am unable to do anything with it. Has anybody else spotted or downloaded this app or have any idea what it will be?
It does say it is a testing app so this is probably why it is asking for a password, maybe it will open up when it is past the testing phase.

Can't get it on my android phone unfortunately. I wonder if Innvo could shed any light... Does it say who made the app?

I didn't think of trying my pleo's serial number, I will try it later.
It was created by Innvolabs so it looks like a genuine Pleo rb app. It is all very curious.

hmm... if it is a real app, and it is for hving a pleo follow you..... they are awfully slow to be following us around. hmmm.... P???

I believe the app is used to take photos of where you are and you can crop a pleo in front so it looks like the pleo went there...

I believe they are different apps, the iOS one at any rate certainly doesn't give any communication options with a Pleo. Would be fun to give. Pleo a pose command and then snap a picture :)

I really love it, it is basically a Pleo photoshop app. What you do is take a photo and then choose a Pleo 'sticker' to add to it. You can choose what pose the Pleo will be in and how big you want it to be, then you use it as wallpaper or you can post it on facebook. You can also paint/draw on the photos and add text.
Although the sample screenshots are from a mobile phone I really think this is best suited for tablets due to the processing power it seems to need and because the stock photos that come with it are sized for tablets and look quite dodgy on a small screen.
I had it on both my phone and tablet but I just have it on the tablet now. It was slow and a bit buggy on the phone but runs perfect on the tablet.

Yup that's the one Midge is talking about :) I like taking pictures of unsuspecting victims and plonking a Pleo on them :P
That app is available on I-devices too.

Hi, I saw this before but am not sure if it will work on my tablet. My husband got me a Nexus 7 Jellybean Tablet, 7 inch for Christmas and I love it. I do not have a smart phone and thought before it was the only way I could use this app. Do you know if it will download on my tablet, ( I do know it is the latest version of Nexus and very popular and I can use Google plus to download it if it will work, I have downloaded other apps that are fun, but would love to use Pleo Rb.
I also have a camera installed on this Nexus 7 but have no idea of how to even access it, not real Tablet smart yet............but I am learning and it is nice (esp with a fractured hand) to lie on the couch late at night and just use my tablet instead of a bulky desktop.... ;))

If you have a Google Play account it will tell you under the install button if the app is compatible with your tablet, I would think yes because the Nexus7 is really new and would have all the latest tech in it. It is a free app so there would be no harm in installing it, if it turns out not to work you can just delete it and it won't have cost you anything :)
The camera will turn on when you press the button that looks like a camera on the start page of the app.
Tablets are so awesome! I got a two year old second hand one a few weeks ago, it runs the old Ice Cream software but at the time it was new it was considered the top end model so it is still more than capable of everything even though it is a few years old. So far every app I have tried has worked well on it, I love it so much :D

Thanks Luna :cool: for the camera info. As strange as it is, there is no camera icon on the Nexus 7 tablet. %)after googling it, I found I need to download a camera launch icon, so now I have. Thanks for all the info! yes, tablets are so awesome, I really am enjoying myne. I will let you know if I was able to download the pleo app. :) P:D

I keep getting the same message over and over"your device is not compatible with this app".?That makes no sense to me. but I would like to figure out why? It is not that I have to have this but I am trying to understand how this tablet works.I have downloaded half a dozen apps(mostly feline related of course.Lol) I know that this tablet being the newest Nexus 7
Androidwith Jellybean 4, it should have all the capabilities. I am guessing it has more to do with a Google account and or passwords. I have nightmares with different sites and passwords on my desktop lately.
I was not able to get into my own email, upload videos, get into YouTube, Facebook and each and every time I left the pleo forums had to sign in over and over even after marking the box, stay logged in!
Computers are wonderful tools but sometimes I feel like they are too controlling and you are at their mercy! :cat-hug:RWM

Not all apps are compatible with all android products. No matter the version. There are hundreds of android devices out there each running slightly different versions of the same OS, developers simply cannot support them all.
Yours is not supported, all you can do is wait and hope that Innvo decide to update their app to work with your device.
