Hi everyone.
My name is Lou and I’m from the UK
Seeing as I’m way into my adult years I’m prob kind of old to be honing a Pleo. I don’t actually have one at the moment, as I’m still trying to justify getting one. Trouble is the more I read about them the more I want one.
Hoping to learn a little more about them here to help my decision

Hi Lou,
Welcome. If you read the thread in Pleo Cafe that talks about age you will find that pleo owners are a diverse group. There are fun and intelligent adults on this forum of all ages 18 to well into their 60s in addition to the great kids that post here too. I think you will enjoy reading about the differences between the 2009 and 2010 Pleo in Pleo News to get an idea of which would be more fun for you.

When you say the 2010 I take it you mean the one that will come to you when called?
It would be a grate feature but I still like the pleo as it stands plus that would mean waiting lol. I’d prefer to get ones that have the cosmetic improvements to the original ones if that makes sense.

If you want a pleo sooner rather than later, be sure to get the 2009 Innvo Labs model from pleoworld.com. That is the one with cosmetic the improvements you mentioned as well as some other hardware improvements. Sign up for the pleoworld email list, and you will get their special offer on the 2009 model available now.

I bought my first Pleo when I was 24, my third will be purchased after the holiday season and a fourth is not out of the question when Innvo brings out their new model ;D The little guys are addictive, very cute and just wonderful to have around when your real animals are off doing their own thing or for if you cannot have a pet for whatever reason. One is a wonderful joy although two is even better ;) Take a look around the forum, the galleries and you tube, you will find everything you need to know and welcome :)

Thanks everyone for your replies. Yes it’s that 2009 one I want.
I registered myself on pleoworld and got a news letter about a special offer for a free battery.
The special offer isn’t on for long though though and it’s limited to the first 100 pleos soled.
Got a few animals but most of them have either slowed down for the winter or are just about to so it’s kind of lonely in the winter. With out them so a pleo would do the trick nicely I think.
