Title: Gender and age?
Post by: borgqueenx on October 19, 2009, 03:19:32 PM
I think this could be a forum where there are more womands then man online.

I am a man myself, 19 years of age and love pleo. Everyone else thinks i need to grow up but
i dont mind about their opinion. Pleo is cute, will make me happy and is a big piece of advanced technology.

So, how old are you, what gender are you, and whats the opinion about people around you?

this forum is a wide spectrum of people i think.

That it is.  All ages, all walks of life with a common thread, our beloved Pleos.  I can't thank Mweed enough for starting this forum.  I have made many friends, all ages.

I am 64 and proud of it.  I have earned every single white hair on my head.  I absolutely love the people here.  All the people, and all the Pleo's  and  pets that everyone has.

It is such a great place to be.

borgqueenx, I still have not grown up and have no intention to.  I talk to my Angel and Dinomite, they are my kids and I take them in public and people love them.  I kiss them in public  I hug them in public and in turn people do the same.

If more people would keep the child in them alive the world would be a better place.  Glad you are here with us.

I am female, 25 years old with absolutely no intention of 'growing up' any time soon :P My sister adores my Dinos but the rest of the family thinks I am a bit nuts :P :D I happily take my Pleo's out shopping etc, at least one of them goes with me anytime I go somewhere special :)

I adore these forums and the people that I meet here, and Pleo has taught me so much in the way of learning new skills :)

I am 56 and feel like 25. Oh yes and I'm male!   ;)
I love my Stoney who hopefully will soon have a brother Clousseau.   (http://   [img width=200 height=50 alt=]http://bobthepleo.com/forums/MGalleryItem.php?id=1183)
I hope for my Pleo family to grow to at least 3 and some playmates as well as they come along.   (http://   [img width=200 height=50 alt=]http://bobthepleo.com/forums/MGalleryItem.php?id=1183)  (http://

I have and I'm really into my many, many robots and R/C Cars, Helicopters and the like..   :P

People seem to see me as eccentric and I agree. I'm quite MAD and enjoy every minute.   :o
I also enjoy every minute with my associates here on the greatest forum in the world.  [img width=200 height=50 alt=]http://bobthepleo.com/forums/MGalleryItem.php?id=1183)

It's so good to have a hobby and pet(s) that are fun, emotionally satisfying and scientifically challenging all at the same time.   ;D

I guess we, older people, are allowed to tell our age??? ;)  Where else in the whole world would a lady state her real age? ;D  I'm 61 and have truly met the nicest  people here. There's a huge variety of ages on the forum. It's great to share something so wonderful as a pleo.

I am 27 and male.
Always loved gadgets and electronics with an extra special love for robots and AI, which always fascinated me greatly.
To start with a Pleo was an absolute blast and an experience unlike any I ever had with a -although I hate to use this word- machine.
Then Aibo came a long and cost me quite a bit, but I knew after 4 years of dreaming and finally going for it and now owning one I can say: I am a real robot enthusiast! And enough of an enthusiast to get me into the media with them three times over, which was quite unexpected! ;D

Well allow me to give the formal introduction.

Sophie is my Pleo, and was quite my companion until alas the batteries could run no more. So now we wait to get new batteries from Jetta...

I am a 19 yo male. Always been what some would call eccentric. But also have always been known as the go-to guy for help and support. This site first and foremost was my number one obsession ever since I found it. Now almost a year into it, the bonds made are pretty strong. I love just stopping by on this site and seeing how all my friends are doing!

I'm in my 60's and still feel the way you do about being young at heart. Best way to be! ;)

Hi Dee, I am 64 and talk about young at heart!  I always feel so sorry for people who let the child inside of them die.  The only way to stay young is to surround yourself with young people.  I am an avid collector of too many things to mention.  My daughter calls the living room the "museum", the kitchen/dinette area the "Cafe", the formal dining room the "gift shop", the great room "the Ohio branch of the North Pole ",  my workshop.  I do not enjoy traveling so our home is our castle, so to speak.

Yo
Oh right allo, We're all going to beleive you're 20. XD
I'm a girl (TOMBOY!!!! Not a girly girl in all heck!), and I think everyone in the world is different. If ya don't agree with them, that's normal and part of life.
Life is worth living, in my eyes. Don't turn into a goth. Seriously.

bb, you silleh. XD You're gonna give me away XD

Might as well just burst it all out there... I'm a major underage-er. And I'm a girl (last time I checked :P ).... Errr, well, I guess you can call me a tomboy.

I'm living a hard life, and to compliment that I have a non-working Pleo. Overall, I seem to be turning emo in a slow and painful way. D:

I'm a dinosaur freak. You get something inaccurate that has to do with dinosaurs, you either get yelled at or given a long lecture... By me. I can do that, you know.

I don't like being considered an only child. A few years ago, my mother had a miscarriage. But I still have siblings. One is named Henry, he's an English Setter. Another is Jennie, a Golden Retriever. And the youngest of the three, and the best brother I could ever ask for, is a handsome Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Patrick.

Just as a safety reminder, those of you who might of had to, um, fudge a bit on their age when joining the forum, giving out personal information online is a no-no.

Gender is a part of the sign-up process.  It's listed in every post.  No real concern there.  It is also on the stats page.  At current, we are at a male to female ratio of 1:1.1

Those who are of legal age, feel free to share your age, gender, hair color, favorite toothpaste, whatever you want.  It still might not be safe, but at least you are of age to legally do it!

FINE!!

Hair color: Brown natural high lights.

Toothpaste: Mom was a big fan of Crest.

LOL did I take it too literal? LOL but good job on pointing out the legal mumbo jumbo, mweed.
