Title: Understanding the Pleo Neck and Tail Pulley Systems
Post by: Echo on October 17, 2009, 11:21:38 PM
Does anyone have a diagrams, photos or information about where the pulleys are located which are involved in moving the neck and tail?

Does anyone know what Innvo Labs did to make the neck in the new Pleo less like to break?  Did they just put in a stronger cable or did they do a redesign?

They resigned a few of the vertebrae in the neck and tail as they were wearing down the cable.  The cable gauge is still the same.

I would really like to see details of the redesign.  Do you specifics?

I think it is too soon for there to be any pics out there... unless Innvo labs decides to put one out we may have to wait a while, the situation with Ugobe means that faith in Pleo's recovery out in the robo community is not particularly strong.
