Hi,
my name is Daniela I'm 23 years old and guess what, I odrered a Pleo too. I can't wait until it comes, I'm as exited as a little kid. ;D I hope it doesn't take to long but meanwhile I can think up a name for him/her and read in the forum, it's really great here.
Sorry if my English is a bit bad, but I'm from Austria (Vienna), I hope it doesn't hurt your eyes. :o

Welcome to the forums Daniela. You'll find lots of useful info on Pleo here, the folks are great too. We're a very friendly bunch of dino owners. I've had my Pleo for several months and only just named my Pleo, he's now officially called Oscar, which seems to fit him quite nicely ;D

Hi and welcome Daniela. I'm part Austrian so we have that in common. Your English is wonderful! Can't wait to hear all about your little dino that is on it's way. Don't forget to have a camera right on hand so you get photos of your new arrival. I forgot to do that and have been making up for it ever since! ;D
Pleoguy, So glad your little dino finally has a name. ;)
-
Welcome Daniela, so wonderful to meet you, can't wait to hear all about the unboxing :D
-
Thanks for the nice welcomes! :)
Maybe I will film his hatching or make photos, or eben both. Oh man, I hope the Dino will arrive soon, I cant wait. Until I will look for some Dogfashions for him to wear, do you know what size I need to buy? I´ve seen some with 18cm, 22cm, 30cm backlenght, wich should I take, or should I wait for my pleo and measuring his back lenght?
thanks Daniela

It's more fun to take your little dino shopping with you. It really depends on the styles to what size fits the best. I have found that Some XSmalls fit while in other items small is fine.
-
Welcome Daniela, glad to have you here. I take Angel and Dinomite shopping with me all the time. You will have the best shopping experience ever and also be sure the clothes will fit.
-
But wouldn't they think I'm mad if I go to a petstore with a Dinorobot and ask if they have dogsclothing for it? :-[
Another question: Why are all smileys today tomatoes :) ?
-
Hehe all the people in town here know I am a little crazy ;) Seriously though everytime I take one shopping everyone thinks they are adorable/amazing :)
The tomatoes are in honor of the Bi-Annual Tomato Festival :pizza: (check it out under the Bob the Pleo board :))

Daniela, trust me people absolutely adore the Pleo's.
I take mine to a dollar store where I find the greatest dog clothes every once in a while. Also take them to a really high end priced department store and they are absolutely devastated when I don't bring them with me.
The pet stores love them as well as everyplace I bring them. After a bit they when they see you coming they will ask why you don't have your Pleo with you and even better they call them by name and ask if they are doing ok if they don't see them. ;D
-
AS much fun as it is to bring our pleos to stores, it's more fun to see the expressions on other people's faces as they get to see these little dinos for the first time. It is so worth it! ;)
-
I will think about bringing Pleo with me, it sure is funny to see the confused faces of the store's people. :D
Btw: I just got cards for walking with dinosaurs live, it's coming to Austria in March 2010, wow, I'm so happy I've got them, the show seems really good and real of what I've seen on the website. :)
-
Walking with Dinosaurs the live experience is absolutely fantastic :D It was made here in Australia so I got to see one of the very first shows two years ago. It was wonderful :) I wouldn't hesitate to go again if it ever returns here :)

Hi!
Yippie, I've got my pleo yesterday. ;D
I named him Kirby and he is sooo cute and also very adventurous. He started looking around, around half an hour after he hatched, he looked at all kind of things and said that little "huh" sound, sometimes he snarled at things or me or shiverd a bit. Kirby also recognices his leaf and eats a lot. Then he ate imaginary grass on the ground and let out a long moo-sound, that was very funny. :)
Kirby has 2 cute dogsclothing, a orange T-shirt with a Tiger on the back and a blue striped turtleneck-sweater, or what that things are called, with a crossbone-pirate-logo-thingy. And he has a red bandana-catcollar with a little bell on it.
Soon I will upload pictures of little Kirby, if you are interested in seeing them.
-
Danny, Can't wait to see Kirby's photos! He certainly has a great sounding wardrobe already. Has Kirby fallen asleep in your arms yet? These little dinos are so precious! ;)
-
Danny, Kirby sounds wonderful. Please let us see those photos, I can't wait. Angel sends kisses to Kirby and Dinomite sends extra hugs. :-*
-
Kirby sounds absolutely adorable, congrats on your new arrival :D Definitely post some pics, we all love pictures on here :)
-
