PS If that got you down here's a picture of a kitten to cheer you up :)

I agree justbede, Patrick Swayze was very talented and far too young to die. Cancer is a terrible disease and I know they are working day and night to find a cure. Thankfully we will have his movies to celebrate the gifts he had that he shared with the world.

Yeah cancer sucks when someone dies. But what really sucks is to watch it live. The world goes on.
RIP to all those who have gave their lives to cancer.

Amen to that... No one wants to see a loved one suffer even if it means saying goodbye.

Wow! being 56 that really hits home. :o
You can try and live a quality life but cancer can strike anyone at any age. :'(
The pale horseman of the apocalypse is having a successful thundering ride. >:D
Any who!!! Let's live life to the fullest and enjoy our Pleo Companions and of course each other. ;)

It's actually ironic that you mention Pleos as companion robots. That is what originally made me get Pleo. IDK if you all know, but my mother died from brain cancer 1-18-08. She was 47. So with that, I went out and bought me this awesome therapeutic pet robot to help curb the depression. Every Pleo has helped me!

;( I've lost and I know many others who've lost people to cancer. It's such a terrible illness and it really hits deep when I hear of someone else who dies from it. RIP Patrick. I hope your family stays strong during such a difficult time.

Cancer is bad. But who's Patrick Swayze? We also just lost Henry Gibson and Mary of Peter, Paul, and Mary . . .

Sorry to hear Gucci, :( , also lost my Grandmother to Cancer - she was like a mother to me, my Granparents were so much in love with each other that when my Gran passed away my Grandfather passed away after 7 months with a broken heart I also send all my condolences to those who have lost anyone to cancer...and agree with Dadio 100% we only have one life, so we need to make sure we live them to the fullest, and enjoy very minute with all of those we love

You know my heart cry's each and every story I hear of cancer and death.
But there's so much more. More to life, more life for those we may have lost.
There is a real hope for all who are sighing and groaning. As an ordained minister
I feel I must speak. ^-^
I don't believe this is the forum for it but if anyone wants to know how to see
their loved ones again, those they have or may lose in death, the bible holds
out a real hope. Contact the watchtower.org and there you can find someone in
your area who can teach these wonderful blessings contained in the bible free of
charge. No one ever asks for money ever. :)
I'm sorry if I have overstepped my bounds here but with so much pain I thought someone
should offer a real hope for the future. Here how a man ii the bible explains in part about
the resurrection to a better life. at First Corinthians chapter 15 verses 31 to 34. :)
This is my last sermon on these boards. It's not the place for this. :(
I will truly miss Henry Gibson and Mary of Peter Paul and Mary. :'(
Patrick Swayze the film star who danced in comparison to Gene Kelly's class. :'(
Yodasapprentice, Gucci_boi7782, Mweed, B_blue_eyes, InmemoryofRomeo, Justbede and Crystal and
all others who have hurt from cancer and death my tears and hopes are yours. I lost both parents in the last
six years to cancer. My wife's father passed in the same way. over 20 years ago. He was 96. :o
Yes no one is free in this old world from pain and sorrowing. This is covered at the Bibles Book of Revelation
chapter 21 verses 3 and 4. :)
Again I'm sorry if I've offended any one. :-[
