Title: New Pleo- Battery dont in like 3 hrs??
Post by: Totofogo on September 02, 2009, 05:56:13 PM
I just got my new pleo in the mail and put the battery on to charge around 3:45ish... its was red as far as i know untill 5:15 when I went out to eat dinner... when I got back at 6:15ish and the battery was green and I played with my pleo for about an hour, it started in a sleeping position. The battery never died out but it is on to charge again...

I am just worried because

A: It only took 3 hrs compared to the 4 it should take the first time...

and

B: It lasted more than the 30 min it should the first time...

Should I not be worried; or should I?

P.S. Me and bbe were talking and it occured to me that they could have changed the way they made them so here are my bat stats...:

the charger says on the back 12v===800mA
and 7.2 V 22200mAh H8 is the battery stats

thanks goes out to b blue eyes for bringing this out of my mind to do!

it doesint sound that bad to me.    it might just be a faster battery and longer lasting one.

and all fore say "7.2 V 2200mAh H8"  (are there really three 2s and not two 2s on your battery?)

My batteries typically charge for 3 to 3 1/2 hours and I enjoyed almost an hour and a half from my first charge with Stitch (and these days I get close to 1 hour 50 minutes if my dinos aren't too active), so your battery sounds like it is perfect :)

I find that removing the battery when very warm and letting it cool down helps with having a longer play time. My batteries charge in much less time then three hours. Yours sounds quite normal. :)
