Its been blowing a gale for the last four days... so what do you do?

Fly a kite of course :)

If it were really blowing a gale, I'd worry that a kite might carry a poor pleo aloft!

I did actually try to tie the kite to a belt around Lilo's waist and have her sitting so it looked more like she was flying the kite but the wind was too strong, it was knocking her over when she was just sitting there without the kite :P (hence why she was standing in the vid :P)

Awwww I totally agree with you! I'd be scared that the kite is going to carry away Frisbee! It's not going to happen probably, haven't used my kite in years. We never get any wind here.

lilo is so cute! it is funny that she is flieing a kite! i dont have a pleo  but hopfuly i will be geting won soon! ;D

When Lilo has a pleo buddy at home to live with I'm sure he/she can
help her fly a kite in any wind. (I hope)  ;)

I already have two ;) It might take three of them though to hold it down :P We either seem to have far too much wind or not enough lol.

I found the perfect way for you to help the sale of Pleo's, IMR. Just write "BUY PLEO WWW.PLEOWORLD.COM" on the underside of the kite. Wait for a good gust, tie Lilo up good, and wave bye-bye as she floats away with the wind. It's all for the greater good, eh?

I'm kidding! I'm kidding! Stop whacking me in the head with a frying pan! It was a joke!

:o Poor Lilo she is shivering at the very thought, Pleo's weren't built to fly :P

Maybe a hot air balloon though... *ponders how to make a hot air balloon* ;D

Anyone remember the movie James and the Giant Peach? The really creepy one? Well do you recall the beginning where James puts a paper bag over some sort of candle thing and it flys? Well me and a friend tried it once with a very tiny candle and a small plastic bag thing. I couldn't find a website with simple instructions but here's the best I can do:

Now just do all of that, but make it bigger for one of your Pleo's! ;D Much more safer.

I think I would need a little more lifting force than a few birthday candles... that would definitely be a winter experiment though it is a total fire ban here over summer :)

There was a fires burning up the province all summer where I live. Some days the smoke was so red it turned the moon red! It seemed like some creepy bad omen or something, Frisbee make a scared noise at it! Anyways I don't think they're going to let us burn fires anywhere except for very few private campgrounds and very controlled environments. Looks like the days of marshmellow cooking and bonfires are coming to an end. :( All because of some idiot that was careless.  >:(

Try buying hundreds of candles from the dollar store, or get tons of those lighters that stay on and try it.  ;D
