Title: Pleo MySkit, YAPT

Hello,
       I was woundering if you guys can help me make a Pleo Puppy,

I don't quite understand how to use MySkit, YAPT is easy I think some of this motions go with it well, (soc_trx_watchdog_bark_v1, soc_rxn_wetdog), I don't quite know were I can get the tug-of-war motion name from, e.g. soc_trx_tug_of_war if that is what it's called I guess I just don't know the file name, I would also like to use the "Play-dead" found in pleosaurex but i don't actually know the motion name for it. Can you help me out please?

hi lammas the problem with yapt and myskit is they giv you the tools to make motions and sounds for pleo but they are limited on how real the personality seems yapt gives you a drag and drop list of skits the pleo could perform for certain sensory input which is cool but no where near as advanced as life OS if on the other hand your not to worried about any of that then your best bet would be to ask one of the senior membs such as Inmemoryofromeo (she has a nice example of her work in the software section called the big project) for advice.

Should also add, have you considered shadowing pleos current sounds with dog sounds? i believe there is an example in one of the threads of this type of personality with dog sounds.

Pleo was modeled on a puppy you know Lammas, so they are already quite puppy like :) Of course they lack the more sophisticated puppy attributes like being able to chase a ball and so on, and they are quite slow. (but then Camarasauruses weren't going to win any races anyhow :P)

You may find that shadowing the sounds your Pleo makes might be more what you are looking for. Check out these topics for tutorials and examples :)
