So, the choice is yours!

You really should have put all your questions into one post. So I will answer them all here.
My favourite IPod is by far the touch. (I have had a shuffle, nano and touch) However if you only want it to listen to music then just buy a shuffle :P
I have an IPod touch, it does not have a camera, only the IPhone has a camera, and remember that you pay an extra $500 (in Australia) for the IPhone which means an extra $500 to have a camera and to make phone calls :P IMHO it is not worth the extra money, but that's up to the user. The touch by itself has better battery life than the phone. Oh and the IPhone only has a 2mp camera, even my old mobile had a 3mp :P so its not as good as it could be. I love my touch and use it daily, the picture quality is excellent, it plays movies really well and is a nice little hand held gaming platform. It does not have an expandable memory though so be sure you buy one that suits the size of your cd collection ;)

My mum has a classic, and it's completely awesome.

Actually your wrong. Here in the United states the iPhone 3G is $99 and the iPhone 3Gs is $199 for the 16 gigabytes.

Ok I am so moving to the US :P They are $800 here for the IPhone 3Gs 32 gig, they are free if you get it on a phone plan though...
-
Free?!?
-
The phone is free but you pay $60 + a month for the plan :P So it isn't really free, just paid off :P
-
Oh, it's $30.00 here a month.
