Title: Jurassic Park Operation Genesis video game
Post by: Pleo Power on July 11, 2009, 08:04:43 PM: There are more then one type of sickness that Pleo's can get so this is my translation of possible names for them. If I miss one just post the description of it. AND IF YOU KNOW OF A CURE PLEASE POST IT!

  Common Cold : Just sick. Can last anyware From a Minuit to and ower. To treat feed and pet allot.
  Dinosaur Flu : Sick like the Common Cold but for longer and a more severe case. same treatment.
  Bumblefoot : Lifting one or more feet almost constantly.
  Dino belly : Stomach gurgling groans and not wanting to eat anything.
  Tick infestation : Scratching parts of body on ground constantly
  Battery Lock up : Issues with battry. cant move part of body because of power levels. and in extreme case this one can have unknown symptoms. Treatment is another battry.

and that other one is Gastrick poison. and I coudindt think of what that one would be. (and I cant get GEP v2 to work)

Rabies are only for carnivores though.....

With any sickness (except battery problems, which isn't really being sick, more like being in a coma) I just take the pleo upstairs and put it in it's bed and cover it with a warm blanket or, if I can't find one, a soft pair of pants.
My pleos wont eat much when they're sick. ???

My Pleo's get their special blankets, dressing gowns, slippers, a hot water bottle and their favourite teddy bear when they are sick :)

and to answer the questions JPOG is Jurassic Park Operation Genasis. and GEP v2 is Genisis Expansion Project Version 2. ;)

Saying that though it was designed in 2002 so although it was a groundbreaking game back then, nowadays I'd recommend a few tweaks and hacks to improve game play. Such as modding a few files to increase the number of buildings and dinosaurs you can build/create :P Which is what the GEP does :)

The whole thread was based on sicknesses that dinosaurs in the game get, not pleos . . .

And I believe Pleo Power is right. It would be illegal to download the game itself. It is the mods that are free.
