I don't know if any of you could help me with my case. I bought a PLEO last year from Amazon.com. Three months after, my PLEO's neck broke.
I contacted UGOBE and was told to send in PLEO and it would either get fixed or I would get another PLEO. I then shipped PLEO to UGOBE and I never heard from them again. After some time I found out that UGOBE went down and filed for bankruptcy.
I read today an article online that Pleo was resurrected and Ugobe was bought by JETTA COMPANY LIMITED. I would like to either get my PLEO back or get a refund for it.
I don't know who to contact or even if I'll ever get PLEO back. I really would appreciate if any of you know of anyone who I could call or email or write and ask if they could help me get PLEO back.

Ask Jetta andin an email to help, explain them your case like you did here. If that fails ask Ucube (that's Ucube Asia)

Did you ever follow up with the lawyer discussed in the Pleo News (http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?board=21.0) board, Fate of Ugobe/Support (http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?topic=232.0) topic?
Would you know how we can contact the lawyer?
I really want Linus back and maybe if we both contact their lawyer they'll give us back our Pleos.

i emailed Bruce MacIntyre, the lawyer mentioned in the statesman story, and he gave me the name of the trustee in charge of the chapter 7.

But Nafcom is right, contact Jetta as the new owners of pleo. They may not be able to get your your pleo back, but I think they should be able to replace it.

My honest opinion is though, try Ucube (Ugobe Taiwan) too, they are the most supportive people ever, I am sure they will help you with a replacement one!
I will send an email to them now asking if they would send a replacement one explaining the case.

it's sad that amazon doesen't change your pleo. fortunately in italy we have a different product policies that the seller should change your defective product for 12 or 24 months (pleo here is around 418$ but the warranty last 24 months like every electronic product).

Same in Germany but then I never had an issue with exchanging broken stuff or requesting money back when they got broken from amazon.de
