I have found a Statement from Ucube (Ugobe Asia) http://www.bloginfor.com/2009/05/Survival-in-Asia-will-not-be-a-small-dinosaur-extinction-Pleo/ in which they say it still sells in Asia well and they will continue supporting it and even trying to get more units.
Maybe not all is lost so! :)
