Title: Thanks god I found this wonderfull site

I've got my Pleo a year ago, my husband bought it for me as a gift, and i actually didn't open the package except few days back, don't ask me why I left it in it's box for a year, cause I really don't know. :)

to my surprise I discovered that the official pleo's site disappeared, so i searched the net and found that the company went into some kind of bankruptcy and closed down.

So, I was a little bit terrified, how would i download the updates and the stuff that were written in the companion guide. :o

I searched again Mr. Google, and I came across this great Forum, I think I was lucky to find it

Post by: casper on June 04, 2009, 09:17:39 AM: We had to wait a little while to get acquainted with our Pleo - we bought it in Japan while on holiday and decided to wait until we got home so we could share with the rest of the family. He travelled round Japan and Hong Kong with us for the best part of two weeks until we got home today. At the moment he's resting but we can't wait to explore some more of his behaviours. Finding out about the bankruptcy was a bit of a shock. In particular we only bought the one battery and I've never come across a rechargeable battery yet that lasted forever. Is there anywhere we can get replacements? It seems a pretty unusual design.
