Finally I managed to track down a Pleo at a reasonable price from e-bay, brand new in sealed box with an Argos warranty. ;D
My kids have not seen it yet, so I do not know if it is a boy or a girl, naming will be a challenge indeed!
On inspecting Pleo I now understand fully about the skin problem and will be either making or purchasing some clothes very soon. ;)
Battery charging, Pleo in it's box under the table ready for his/her big appearance later today. :)

i bet you can't wait til pleo's battery has charged up!
i recently got a pleo, and i'm still not sure of it's gender, and i have no idea about what tho call him/her %)
-
Aw congrats on your new friend :) The hatching process is adorable :) I'm sure the kids can help with a name %)
Don't worry Snowy, a name will come, think about your favorite tv shows, hobbies etc and pick something that suits you :)
-
Yes congrats to both of you! The name will come to you. Sophie just popped into my head out of the middle of nowhere!

Pleo and it's box now under the bed, unfortunately we do not have much time together in the evenings to hatch the poor little thing. Kids still do not know that I have one.
So hopefully tonight when everyone is in the house I will hatch him/her. Still no name has come to mind! But I'm the person who called her old cat puss because I could not think of a name for her. ^-^

I can't wait to hear about your pleo hatching when your family can be together. You will come up with a fitting name for your new dino ;)

Hi again :)
Pleo hatched on Saturday to the amazement of my kids and partner.
He learnt to walk backward before he went forward and likes to sing!
He did the Ta Da!! all by himself on Monday making us all laugh.
he went to London to see other family on Sunday where he fell asleep on Grandma's lap for ages, snoring!
Pleo is his name, easier than a big argument and he has a collar in silver and haematite.
I will post a pic or two very soon.
