Title: Can Pleo rb be turned off but maintaining its sleeping posture?
Post by: V on March 25, 2014, 09:41:48 AM
Hi, I have a question  :dino-chase:
so I was wondering if pleo rb can be turned off but maintaining its sleeping posture.

I found it strange tht Minty got to stand up on her 4 feet when she's turned off or run out of battery.
is there a way to turn off Minty while she's in its sleeping posture?  P|-)
Can I pull the battery out when she's sleeping? will this hurt Minty?

THX ALL  (:

It's best if Minty goes into "packing position" (when she stands up on four legs) when you are not playing with her, as the sleeping posture can be hard on her limbs and skin. I'm not sure if you can have her in sleeping posture when she's off.

No. You can't have Minty go into sleeping posture while turning her off. If you force her to do it by pulling her battery, she will not save the data of your play session and she will not grow up. As Teddscau says, if it were possible to do this, it would put stress on her skin and will cause it to tear after a while. You can however let her go to sleep on her own and then let her wake up in the morning. She will go into standby mode with one beep and will wake  up eight hours later. Just be sure that if you do this, you don't put her in an area where she could fall or become damaged. Also, this will only work correctly if you have her clock set to your actual noon time.

I agree with the above posts.

The very first Pleo RBs did go into something like a sleeping position when switched off - one of the first updates was to change that, as people were worried about the stress to the skin if Pleo was left in a curled position for some time.
