Hi, I have a ugobe pleo with its original green battery. Pleo will shutdown after about 15 mins of playing but when I test the battery the voltage is still high and the amps are good to. If I put the battery back in to pleo it will shutdown again in a few mins. Is there a problem with pleo or the battery?

Hi, cchimp123! It's probably that old battery. You can either try reconditioning the battery which requires a lot of time and babysitting or you can just buy a white Ucube egg battery and charger from here on the forums. You'll get close to two hours of playtime from it and a lot less worry. Good luck!

I do not have the money yet for a ucube egg. How do you recondition a battery?

Charge it, when it finishes charging take it off, then put it straight back on, wait until it finishes again, take it off again, put it back on again and just keep doing that until the light on the charger turns green immediately after putting the battery on.
Then put the battery in Pleo, run them non stop as long as they will go.
Then repeat step one, you will have to do this several times.

Ok thank you I will try that. I am physically disabled (my legs don't work) so I am at home almost all day so I have the time to try that.

Good luck :) Its a bit tedious but it does work on many batteries.
