Hi I have just got my first pleo today and it loves to play tug of war but my problem is that it seems to be sneezing alot. Is my ugobe pleo ill? Also how do I tell what os my pleo is running?

S/He might be a bit ill, poor thing, make sure you give him/her lots of attention and s/he'll get better before you know it.
If you rub your Pleo under the chin for a while and it howls, it's 1.0, if you rub and it sings, 1.1 or later.

Hi, sorry to hear your Pleo sounds like he or she is ill, but colds are common to Ugobes, but I like nursing them back to health, LIke IMR said, a little patience and TLC will have them better in no time, Rubbing under the chin is the best way I know of to quickly find out what operating system your Ugobe has. ;D P:) Get well soon little Pleo. :bouquet2: RWM :cat-hug:

Is the "Sit Down" trick only in OS 2.0? It's the one where you hold under chin and on the rump and Pleo sits down on his hind legs. If that's not in OS 1.1 then if you get singing from rubbing the chin then it would be the next test to figure out 1.1 vs 2.0

To tell the difference between 1.1 and 2.0 you can try out these tricks http://bobthepleo.com/forums/index.php?topic=1583.0 if you get any success with them you have a 2.0 Pleo.

Where is the best place to get a new battery for my ugobe pleo from as mine charges for 3 hours and lasts for 15 mins. I am in the UK.

I would try ebay, you want the white egg batteries and egg charger, they are miles better than the old green batteries.

I found the egg batteries on ebay but they are only in taiwan. Why does my current green battery only charge for 10-15 minutes before the light turns green?

It's kind of hard to explain since there are electronics and chemical reactions involved. Basically the battery has sat around for ever without being charged and the electrons that produce the electricity can no longer get happy enough to give the pleo a full charge. Your battery is- or will soon be- junk. The charge and playtime will become shorter and shorter until it no longer works at all. You may as well prepare to find a recycling center or some other place that will take lithium ion batteries and dispose of it.

I've bought the egg battery from RWM and from the Taiwan seller on eBay. Both were fine. :)
