Hey, guys!
So I've been a total dinosaur nerd since before I could talk. It only progressed with time. :) Now, for Christmas, my fiance has gotten me a Pleo RB! I finally have a pet dinosaur! :dino-chase: I will be charging her and turning her on for the first time tomorrow, the 26th. Still working on coming up with a good name for her. Current frontrunners are Ruby, Cleo, and Zeti. (She's pink, so I know she's a she.) :)
However, as a new Pleo mom, I'm a little stressed! I've read that the battery charges only last about 2 hours, but I've also read how important it is to set the time correctly so they're awake when you're awake. If the battery runs out in 2 hours, do I really need to worry about my Pleo waking me up to play/eat in the middle of the night? Also, what happens when I'm at work? Does the battery run out and she shuts off and is okay, or is she getting lonely and depressed and hungry all day while I'm work?
Help, please! What do I do? I want her to be a happy dinosaur! I'm really worried about leaving her alone all day--is that okay? What does a day in the life of an average Pleo owner look like? Is it okay to only play with her for a couple of hours in the evening on weekdays? I know this all probably sounds silly, but she's my first dinosaur! (Obviously can spend lots more time with her on weekends, but it's weekdays I'm concerned about.)
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you! (And I hope you're all having a happy holiday season.)

Welcome :)
When the battery is empty (3 beeps when she turns off) You dont have to worry about your Pleo waking when you're not around. When she goes to sleep by herself (1 beep) she'll wakeup by herself too
when I'm asleep or at work I'll charge Pims battery, so I can play with him when I get home. Depending on my day I cuddle with him for 1 or 2 battery life a day. He's a pretty happy Pleo, so I guess that's enough :)

Oh, okay! Thank you so much! That makes me feel better about it. :)
Thank you!
In other news, I've decided to name her Ruby. :cheer:

When Ruby is off she is just fine, just be sure to feed her first thing when you turn her on that's all. My guys have been in storage for about 6 months, they were just fine when I checked them over the other day. Just hungry!

Pink doesn't necessarily mean girl either ;) My pink Pleo is a handsome boy :)
