Title: Is it possible to make your own personality for Pleo?
Post by: Eramshaw89 on August 02, 2013, 04:05:42 AM
Hi everyone Im new here hoping to buy a Pleo next week, I was just wondering is it possible to make your own personality software like Aibo has had an aibo enthusiast create Dogs Life for Aibo which has a puppy to adult growth.

Is Pleo programmable enough to do this?

You can make skits in the same way as for Aibo, but I don't believe you can get deep enough into the code to write a new personality.

Happy to be told I'm wrong, though! ;)

It is possible, but there are limitations. We did have two people starting to do some personality work but they both disappeared :(

If you know how to code you can use the PrDK.

If you can't code you can use YAPT or MySkit however neither has been updated to work with all the new RB sensors. So NLT some sensors can be utilized. From memory it's back, shoulder, chin and head that work, cheek and legs don't.
