Title: pleo rb interacting with furby

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone can shed some light on why George my Pleo rb just starts singing whenever he sees my daughters new furby. As soon as the furby is placed facing him he starts singing. So far I have heard happy birthday, what sounds like old macdonald's farm and another I don't recognise. Could it be interference between the two or just the bright eyes and colouring of the furby? But in saying that too, I'm getting different tunes so I doubt its the colours though. If it is interference could it be bad for either life form?

I cant see the video, but what colour is the furby? That may well explain it ;)

The furby is pink with teal ears, eyes and feet. But if it was the colour wouldn't the song be the same not different?

I am sure it will be Furby's colour, pink and teal/blue/purple are the same colours as on the Birthday and Christmas cards. Pleo RB uses the colours of the cards to decide what song to sing. I have a pink and purple spotted dressing gown that my RB will sing to when he sees it and someone else has said that their RB will sing to a colourful blanket they have on their couch.

I am sure he is singing because of Furby's colour  :)

Definitely the colour combo :) Changes in light may account for different songs, but also RB's sing Frere Jacques randomly :)

 As others have said, it is the color combination. I am the one with the blanket, "on the couch" actualy a pet fleece blanket, that just happens to have the right color combination and I was just as amazed at first as you were, till I realized it was the same colors as on the greeting cards, who needs to buy a card when you have a blanket, dress, or Furby with the right colors! Fun. and the songs are random, My guys sang two songs in a row, Happy Birthday and Jingle Bells.           RWM  :cat-hug:
