Title: pleo emergency (and apology for spam)
Post by: irbyma7297 on June 02, 2013, 06:01:59 PM
so, I did change rb on my rb, pullo yesterday, and when I switch him on, he doesn't move. I wait several minutes. he had been on just before the program, so he shouldn't be having probems with his battery. I tried to update him to male yesterday (as changerb claimed he was "neither"') and it was okay, but halfway through it said "Update failed" over and over again. I took the sd card out, but didn't turn him on. I DID save his backup, though. I just put his sd card in and turned him on, but he has yet to move.

also: sorry for the spamming, I was nervous  :(

Argh, why would you do an update on a Pleo that was working perfectly???

You'll have to contact innvo for the reset code.

True. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong but I think all male RB's register as neither on Probe or Change RB. I hope you can get Pullo sorted.

Okay, I'll contact innvo labs. I doubt the update hurt him, but him losing his programming probably failed due to him having nothing to update. I figured it couldn't hurt, and thought that he may have a unisex personality, and wanted him to be a male.

Yep all males show up an no gender on StatsRB, ProbeRB and ChangeRB.  If you look at the stats that it gives it will say that they are giving off male pheromones.  Girls give off female ones.  It sounds like the problem has been caused from the failed update.  You could try re downloading the update (to ensure the copy your using isn't corrupted) and reinstalling it on your micro SD card then have another try with the update - being sure to use a fully charged battery.  As he is already not working having another go at the update can't really make him any worse.  If that doesn't work then unfortunately you will need to get the reset codes from Innvo.  Just to be sure - you did use the pleo rb update and not a pleo one?  If you accidently used the one for Ugobe pleos then the only way to revive him is via Innvo with the reset codes.
